Wuthering Waves Suoming is the new 5-star Electro Sword Resonator available in Phase 2 of Version 3.7 from October 22 at 10:00 server time. The September 19 Preview Special Broadcast has now confirmed the missing banner information: Suoming follows Hsin in the second half of the update, reruns alongside Lynae and Lucilla, and launches with the new 5-star Sword Unspoken Rue.
Her featured banner, Nine Deaths, One Unbent Heart, runs from October 22 at 10:00 to November 11 at 11:59 server time. Lynae and Lucilla rerun alongside her, and Unspoken Rue is the featured five-star Sword. If you’re deciding which banner to spend on, check the actual Convene remaining time for your server.

Wuthering Waves Suoming is the new Phase 2 Resonator for Version 3.7. Kuro Games has confirmed Lynae and Lucilla as the two returning 5-stars sharing the second phase.
Phase 2 begins on October 22 at 10:00 server time and ends on November 11 at 11:59 server time. The exact instant differs by server region, so use the timer on the Convene screen if you’re playing near the deadline.
Gifts of Singing Drizzle also begins October 22. Its separate login rewards include ten Radiant Tides after three cumulative login days, so it can contribute pulls while Suoming’s banner is active.
What rarity, Attribute and weapon does Suoming use?
| Detail | Confirmed information |
|---|---|
| Rarity | 5-star |
| Attribute | Electro |
| Weapon type | Sword |
| Version | 3.7 Phase 2 |
| Signature weapon | Unspoken Rue |
| Mengzhou role | Seal Master of the Ten Seals Covenant |
Suoming is therefore the second new Electro 5-star in Version 3.7, but she uses a Sword rather than Hsin’s Rectifier. Her Phase 2 placement also means players have the first half of the version to decide whether they want to spend on Hsin, save for Suoming or target one of the reruns.
What is Wuthering Waves Suoming’s signature weapon?
The Wuthering Waves Suoming signature weapon is Unspoken Rue, a new 5-star Sword introduced with Version 3.7. It is tied to the Phase 2 weapon lineup and is the weapon Kuro is presenting alongside Suoming.
Unspoken Rue comes from the limited featured weapon Convene. At Rank 1 its passive boosts ATK and provides Electro DMG effects after gaining Unison, which makes it especially relevant to her team and personal damage windows. The full weapon stats and alternatives belong in a separate weapon comparison, not a second copy of this overview.
Who reruns with Wuthering Waves Suoming?
For Wuthering Waves Suoming, Lynae and Lucilla are the confirmed 5-star reruns in Phase 2. Phase 1 contains Hsin, Iuno and Chisa, so the full Version 3.7 schedule contains two new Resonators and four returning 5-stars.
The Wuthering Waves 3.7 Banners guide will keep the complete phase split together once it is published, while our Wuthering Waves Hsin guide covers the first playable Sentinel and her Phase 1 weapon.
Who is Suoming in the Mengzhou story?
Suoming comes from Huating in Mengzhou and founded the Ten Seals Covenant as its Seal Master. Kuro’s official character description links the Covenant to the attempt to liberate her homeland from the Evil Miasma.
She later served as an Intendant of the Ministry of Sentinel Affairs by the Sentinel’s decree. That background places Suoming close to the central Mengzhou conflict and helps explain why her playable release lands in the same update that continues Chapter IV with Simulacrum of the Heart.
Should you use pre-release Suoming builds?
Suoming’s launch makes it possible to assess her Unison-based combat kit using current game data. A straightforward starting build uses Heart of Sworn Vigil and a Sword with useful Crit stats, then adapts the rotation depending on whether Suoming deals most of the damage or sets up Hsin. See the build coverage for Echo mains, stats and team options.
The confirmed planning summary is clear: Suoming is a 5-star Electro Sword Resonator in Phase 2, Lynae and Lucilla rerun beside her, and Unspoken Rue is her signature 5-star Sword.
