Brewfest Bomber: How to Get the Flying Mount

Brewfest Bomber is the flying mount in the modern Brewfest collection and comes from Coren Direbrew. Blizzard highlights it in the 2026 event announcement, while current holiday data places it in the first-attempt rare reward group with the event boss.

Some older preview material called the model Brewfest Barrel Bomber, but the live item and mount are now named Brewfest Bomber. That name difference is worth knowing if you are comparing older mount lists with what appears in the game.

Brewfest Bomber is obtained by defeating Coren Direbrew during Brewfest and winning the rare mount roll. Use the holiday Dungeon Finder queue and make the first daily attempt a priority because current guidance gives that attempt the meaningful rare-drop chance and an increasing chance across new days.

Queue for Coren Direbrew

Open Dungeon Finder during Brewfest and select the holiday boss. The queue sends you to the Grim Guzzler encounter in Blackrock Depths without requiring a manual dungeon run.

For Brewfest Bomber, the fight itself is quick. The real limitation is the event’s rare-drop system, so consistency across the holiday matters more than spending hours travelling or clearing unrelated content.

First daily attempt and increasing chance

Current Brewfest guidance lists Brewfest Bomber among rewards that can only drop on the first attempt of the day, with an increasing chance on each new day you defeat the boss. That makes the daily reset the important opportunity.

If Brewfest Bomber is your priority, do Coren early each day so a forgotten holiday queue does not waste one of the limited event dates.

Brewfest Bomber versus Brewfest Barrel Bomber

The mount appeared in earlier data and articles as Brewfest Barrel Bomber. A 2025 hotfix explicitly renamed that year’s new mount to Brewfest Bomber, and the live item page uses the shorter name.

Searching either phrase may still surface older guides, but Brewfest Bomber is the current in-game name to use for the mount and item.

Is it the same source as the Ram and Kodo

All three mounts are connected to Coren Direbrew, but the current guide distinguishes the first-attempt drop rules for different reward groups. Swift Brewfest Ram and Great Brewfest Kodo remain the classic ground-mount chases, while Brewfest Bomber is the flying option.

That makes one Coren run useful even after you already own the flying mount, because the broader seasonal collection can still have missing pieces.

How long you can farm the mount

Brewfest 2026 runs from September 20 through October 6. Since the strong mount chance is tied to daily first attempts, the number of event days is more important than the number of hours you can grind in one session.

For the flying mount, build the boss into a short daily routine and use the rest of your Brewfest time on the Banquet, housing decor and token objectives.

For the current event dates and first-party reward overview, Blizzard has the official World of Warcraft Brewfest 2026 announcement. the flying mount is available as part of Brewfest from September 20 through October 6, 2026.

Because Brewfest is a limited holiday, the flying mount is only worth planning around while the event is live. In 2026 that window runs from September 20 through October 6, so finish time-gated daily attempts before leaving one-time travel or vendor tasks until later.
