Blue Protocol Star Resonance Season 4: Lightchase Oath Guide

Blue Protocol Star Resonance Season 4

Blue Protocol Star Resonance Season 4 begins globally on October 8, 2026 with the Lightchase Oath season, adding a new Vow system, Oath Strength, Oath Trials, six scheduled Chaotic Realm dungeons, new maps and a major seasonal progression reset.

The core loop is more connected than it first looks. You choose one of five Vow Altars before Chaotic Realm, earn Vow Energy by fighting, spend that energy on Oath Trials, raise your Vow Level and use Oath Strength to avoid heavy seasonal penalties against stronger enemies.

Blue Protocol Star Resonance Season 4: How the new Vow system works

Before a Chaotic Realm run, you choose one of five Vow Altars. Each Vow provides a different buff package and starts at Vow Level 1.

The global preview confirms there are five choices, but it does not publish the five English names or their full effect tables before launch. Use the live altar screen on October 8 for the exact final wording rather than a translated or guessed list.

Blue Protocol Star Resonance Season 4: Why party Vow diversity matters

Defeating enemies generates Vow Energy. The more unique Vows your party brings, the faster everyone gains that energy.

That means four players blindly copying one popular Vow can be worse for seasonal resource generation than a coordinated party spreading different choices across the group.

Blue Protocol Star Resonance Season 4: What Vow Energy is used for

Vow Energy powers the new Oath Trials found around the map. Spending more energy when activating a Trial raises its Oath Level.

The Trial then gives your group powerful temporary buffs while also empowering nearby monsters according to their Entries. Those stronger enemies return additional Vow Energy when defeated.

Blue Protocol Star Resonance Season 4: Oath Strength explained

Oath Strength is the new seasonal combat stat. If your Oath Strength is below the enemy’s, your damage and healing are heavily reduced while incoming damage rises.

If you exceed an Oath-season enemy, every 150 points of advantage gives 5% extra damage, up to 20%, and 2% extra healing, up to 8%.

Blue Protocol Star Resonance Season 4: Why old-season enemies become easier

During Lightchase Oath, damage against wild monsters from earlier seasons is increased by 100%. The same 100% damage bonus applies against raid bosses from previous seasons.

That should make older progression and catch-up content much less punishing once the new seasonal stat system is active.

Blue Protocol Star Resonance Season 4: Chaotic Realm changes in Season 4

Normal mode is removed to reduce weekly participation burden. The six new dungeons roll out between October 8 and October 22.

Lightchase Spirits can appear during Chaotic Realm. Defeat one and finish the dungeon to receive Lightchase Treasure, which includes one piece of Legendary gear from that dungeon and an outfit reward chest.

Blue Protocol Star Resonance Season 4: Oath Dust and Oath Silk rewards

Oath Dust drops across Chaotic Realm difficulties and is the general appearance-exchange material. Oath Silk is dungeon-specific and comes in six types, one for each Season 4 Chaotic Realm.

Stella at the Pioneer Bureau exchanges these materials for dungeon appearances, including the Mist Combatant set and Emberheart weapon appearance.

Blue Protocol Star Resonance Season 4: Season 4 progression reset

Season Pass progress, Season Title, Deep-Slumber Psychoscope bonuses and Season Achievements reset when Season 4 begins. The Season Store and Elite Store also refresh.

The Oath Psychoscope is redesigned with new nodes and Factor effects, while Matrix Manifestation adds Imprints that can be stored, embedded into Factors and inherited between matching slots.

Best first-day priorities

  • Finish the seasonal reset housekeeping before spending old-season resources blindly.
  • Unlock the October 8 maps and check the new seasonal menus.
  • Read all five Vow Altars before choosing a default.
  • Coordinate different Vows in a party to improve Vow Energy gain.
  • Keep Oath Strength high enough that new-season enemies are not applying the low-strength penalty.
  • Start Mirror Judgment for the first Oath Dust, Oath Silk and Lightchase Spirit opportunities.
  • Save dungeon-specific Silk until you know which appearance you actually want from Stella.

For the new combat systems, use Blue Protocol Star Resonance Vow Altars, Vow Energy and Oath Strength.

The Mischief Night Halloween event also runs alongside Season 4, with Nightveil Woods challenge stages and separate rewards. Those Halloween activities are not part of the Vow or Chaotic Realm progression systems.
