Blue Protocol Star Resonance Chaotic Realm: Best Vows and How It Works

Blue Protocol Star Resonance Chaotic Realm is the centre of the Lightchase Oath seasonal loop, with six Season 4 dungeons rolling out from October 8 to October 22. Before each challenge you choose a Vow, build Vow Energy in combat and can encounter Lightchase Spirits for bonus seasonal treasure.

Season 4 also changes the reward structure. Normal mode is removed, appearances can drop directly on any difficulty and Oath Dust plus dungeon-specific Oath Silk create a second path toward the cosmetic rewards sold by Stella.

Blue Protocol Star Resonance Chaotic Realm: Normal mode is removed

Season 4 removes normal mode to reduce weekly participation burden.

That makes the remaining difficulty ladder more important because appearance materials now have specific caps across Hard, Master 1-5 and Master 6+.

Choose one of five Vow Altars before starting. Each Vow provides a different buff effect and begins at Level 1.

The more unique Vows your party brings, the faster Vow Energy is generated during combat.

There is no honest universal answer before the five global effect descriptions are live. The best group setup should balance personal class synergy with Vow diversity.

If two Vows provide similar value to your build, the one that adds another unique party Vow has extra seasonal value because it accelerates energy generation.

Oath spirits can appear as Lightchase Spirits inside Chaotic Realm.

Defeat the Lightchase Spirit and complete the dungeon to receive Lightchase Treasure.

Blue Protocol Star Resonance Chaotic Realm: What Lightchase Treasure contains

Lightchase Treasure includes one piece of Legendary gear from the current dungeon and an outfit reward chest.

Opening the outfit chest grants a set amount of Oath Dust and has a chance to award a full outfit directly.

Blue Protocol Star Resonance Chaotic Realm: Oath Dust drop limits

Oath Dust is the general appearance exchange material. Hard mode has a cumulative 800 drop limit, and Master 1-5 has a separate cumulative 800 limit.

Master 6 and above has no Oath Dust drop limit according to the Season 4 preview.

Oath Silk drop limits

Each dungeon has its own Oath Silk type. The five non-Cavern Zero Silks each have a 100 total drop limit across all difficulties for their dungeon.

Oath Silk – Cavern Zero has a much larger 900 drop limit across all difficulties.

Where to spend the appearance materials

Take Oath Dust and Oath Silk to Stella at the Pioneer Bureau.

Confirmed exchange rewards include the Mist Combatant appearance set and the Emberheart weapon appearance, with different Silk types tied to different dungeon appearance pieces.

How Oath Strength affects Chaotic Realm

Being below an Oath-season enemy in Oath Strength heavily reduces damage and healing while increasing damage taken.

Being above the enemy gives scaling offensive and healing bonuses, so Season 4 gearing is not just about traditional Crit, Haste or Mastery.

Best weekly approach

• Clear newly unlocked dungeons as they arrive instead of waiting for all six.
• Coordinate Vows before the first pull.
• Watch Oath Strength so seasonal penalties are not ruining clear speed.
• Kill Lightchase Spirits whenever they appear.
• Track Hard and Master 1-5 Oath Dust caps separately.
• Keep each dungeon’s Oath Silk separate in your planning.
• Use Stella only after checking which appearance piece requires which Silk.

Why the staggered unlock schedule matters

The dungeons do not all arrive on October 8. New Silk types and appearance targets continue opening through October 22.

That makes early-season farming a rolling schedule rather than one enormous launch-day checklist.
