Blue Protocol Star Resonance Oath Dust and Oath Silk: How to Get and Spend Them

Blue Protocol Star Resonance Oath Dust and Oath Silk

Blue Protocol Star Resonance Oath Dust and Oath Silk are the two appearance currencies attached to Season 4 Chaotic Realm. Oath Dust is the general exchange material, while Oath Silk is dungeon-specific and comes in six separate types.

The distinction matters because their limits are different. Oath Dust is capped by difficulty band, while each Silk has its own dungeon-wide total, with Cavern Zero using a much larger cap than the other five.

Blue Protocol Star Resonance Oath Dust and Oath Silk: How to get Oath Dust

Oath Dust can drop from all Chaotic Realm difficulties.

Hard and Master 1-5 track separate cumulative 800 caps, while Master 6 and above is uncapped in the Season 4 notes.

Blue Protocol Star Resonance Oath Dust and Oath Silk: How to get Oath Silk

Run the Chaotic Realm tied to the Silk you need. Each dungeon has a corresponding Oath Silk type used for different appearance pieces.

The six types are Mirror Judgment, Illusion-Shroud Dragon, Barren Courtyard, Illusion-Shroud Moonveil, Illusion-Shroud Dark Mist and Cavern Zero.

Blue Protocol Star Resonance Oath Dust and Oath Silk: why Cavern Zero is different

The first five Silk types cap at 100 each across all difficulties in their respective dungeon.

Cavern Zero instead has a 900 total Silk limit, making it the clear outlier in the seasonal material structure.

Blue Protocol Star Resonance Oath Dust and Oath Silk: Lightchase Treasure can speed up Oath Dust

A Lightchase Spirit may appear during Chaotic Realm. Defeat it and finish the dungeon to receive Lightchase Treasure.

The treasure includes Legendary gear from the current dungeon plus an outfit reward chest. The chest gives a set amount of Oath Dust and can directly award a full outfit.

Blue Protocol Star Resonance Oath Dust and Oath Silk: Can appearances drop directly?

Yes. Completing Chaotic Realm at any difficulty has a chance to drop a dungeon-exclusive appearance directly.

That means materials are the reliable exchange path, but a lucky direct drop can reduce how much Dust or Silk you actually need to spend.

Blue Protocol Star Resonance Oath Dust and Oath Silk: Where to spend the materials

Stella at the Pioneer Bureau handles the Season 4 dungeon appearance exchanges.

Confirmed rewards include the Mist Combatant appearance set and the Emberheart weapon appearance.

Blue Protocol Star Resonance Oath Dust and Oath Silk: How to choose which Silk to farm

Start with the appearance you actually want, then identify its linked dungeon Silk.

Farming every dungeon equally can waste time if your priority cosmetic only needs one or two specific Silk types.

Best material-farming order

  • Clear each new Chaotic Realm as it unlocks.
  • Track Hard Oath Dust and Master 1-5 Oath Dust separately.
  • Move into Master 6+ if you are capable and need uncapped Dust farming.
  • Kill Lightchase Spirits whenever they appear.
  • Keep the six Silk types organised by dungeon.
  • Check Stella’s exchange costs before spending a limited Silk.
  • Account for direct appearance drops before grinding a full material total.

Why Oath Dust should not be confused with Vow Energy

Vow Energy is the in-combat resource used to activate Oath Trials. Oath Dust is a reward currency for Season 4 appearance exchanges.

One is part of the combat loop, the other is part of the cosmetic reward economy.

How the materials fit into the season

Season 4 turns Chaotic Realm into both a gear and appearance farm. Legendary gear, direct cosmetics, Lightchase Treasure, Oath Dust and Oath Silk all sit inside the same dungeon schedule.

For the full dungeon rotation, see Blue Protocol Star Resonance Chaotic Realm.

How to avoid wasting limited Silk

Do not exchange a dungeon-specific Silk simply because you have enough for the first available cosmetic. Check the full Stella list and decide which appearance matters most before spending a material with a hard seasonal cap.

Oath Dust is more flexible, but Silk ties your choice to a specific dungeon reward pool.
