Blox Fruits Update 30 New NPCs are part of the First Sea rework rather than a giant new cast spread across every ocean. The important additions reported in the live update include the Secrets Master, Desert Merchant and Angel Guard, while existing NPC interactions have also changed through the new Rumour dialogue system.
The Blox Fruits Update 30 New NPCs matter because Secrets are now tied to progression. Talking to characters is no longer only about accepting the next standard quest or buying an item.
If you are clearing the reworked islands, pair this with our Blox Fruits First Sea Changes in Update 30 guide and the Blox Fruits Update 30 Level Cap explanation.
Blox Fruits Update 30 New NPCs and the Secrets Master

The Secrets Master is the clearest new face connected to Update 30’s hidden-content system. The First Sea now contains 40 Island Secrets, and the new NPC layer helps push players toward discovering them rather than treating the rework as a visual reskin.
Blox Fruits Update 30 New NPCs should therefore be approached with exploration in mind. If a character offers unusual dialogue, do not click through automatically. The update uses hints, rumours and hidden objectives to reward players who actually read what is being said.
The Secrets Master also reinforces the fact that the First Sea is now relevant to endgame players. You can be far beyond the old early-game route and still have reasons to return.
Desert Merchant and Angel Guard
The Desert Merchant and Angel Guard are also associated with the reworked First Sea quest content. Blox Fruits Update 30 New NPCs are not all conventional “kill five enemies” quest dispensers; some exist to support the new Secrets and changed island structure.
Because Secrets can involve puzzles, unusual tasks and awakened boss content, the value of an NPC is not always obvious on first contact. Players who only look for a large quest icon can miss the new progression hooks.
If you are working systematically, clear the nearby normal content, talk to the new characters and then use Rumour dialogue around the island before moving on.
Rumour dialogue changes existing NPCs too
Blox Fruits Update 30 New NPCs are only half of the character update. Existing NPCs can now offer a Rumour option that gives clues about Secret content. That makes familiar characters more useful even when they have not been replaced.
Rumours are intentionally less direct than a normal quest marker. They are there to point you toward suspicious areas, unusual boss behaviour or hidden tasks without turning every Secret into a waypoint.
This is one of the better changes for returning players because it makes the rebuilt islands feel worth investigating rather than simply prettier versions of areas you already know.
The Gacha Dealer moved
Blox Fruits Update 30 New NPCs coverage should also mention relocation. The Blox Fruit Gacha Dealer is now in Middle Town in the First Sea, which can catch out players returning on old muscle memory.
The Dealer is especially important during Update 30 because normal fruit rolls remain useful and the Magnet Event adds its own token-driven reward loop. Dragon East and Dragon West are also back in the rollable fruit pool.
If you cannot find a service where you remember it, check the reworked layout before assuming the NPC has been removed.
New dialogue and presentation
NPC dialogue has been redesigned as part of Update 30’s wider UI pass. Blox Fruits Update 30 New NPCs therefore sit inside a cleaner conversation system rather than using the exact presentation longtime players remember.
Weapon Dealers can show an item before you buy it, Boat Dealers can preview unlocked vessels and boss rewards are surfaced more clearly. Those are not all new characters, but they make NPC interactions more informative.
This matters most to new players. The First Sea now does a better job of explaining what a purchase or encounter is likely to give you before you commit resources.
How to use the new NPCs efficiently
When clearing Secrets, move island by island. Talk to the obvious Blox Fruits Update 30 New NPCs, then check Rumour dialogue from nearby characters before leaving. Use the World Map to see whether you still have unfinished Secret progress.
Do not assume every clue resolves immediately. Some hidden content may require a boss, a particular interaction or a return visit. If one hint is going nowhere, record it and continue elsewhere.
The official Blox Fruits experience is available through Roblox. Blox Fruits Update 30 New NPCs make the First Sea more than a tutorial zone, and paying attention to their dialogue is now part of reaching the update’s full Secret progression.
