Across the Icebound Snowscape (I) requires 61 Snezhnaya Teleport Waypoints in Genshin Impact Version 7.1. If your achievement is stuck at 60/61, start at Fellfrost Peak: the September 23 update added a waypoint near the Guardian Blade of Drifting Snow world boss. Older checklists based on Version 7.0 may only count 60.
Check the boss-side waypoint first. If you’ve already turned it blue, the next likely places to inspect are quest-controlled locations such as House of Hesperides and Train Boneyard. Several of these do not show up as ordinary surface markers until their quests open the area.
Why does Across the Icebound Snowscape now require 61?
HoYoverse’s Version 7.1 update notes identify an additional Teleport Waypoint near Guardian Blade of Drifting Snow and adjust the achievement counter accordingly. It was formerly possible to complete the area with 60 activated devices. For travelers who already earned the achievement before the update, HoYoverse preserved that completion; an old completed badge is not removed merely because the total increased.
Across the Icebound Snowscape belongs to the Snezhnaya: Sacred city of ice and pale star (I) exploration series. The included areas are Everfrozen Earth, Volkodlak Tundra, Flamefeather Valley, White Birch Snowgrave and Fellfrost Peak. The individual teleport achievement awards five Primogems, separate from other regional tasks.
Across the Icebound Snowscape: where is the 61st waypoint?
The new waypoint is beside the Guardian Blade of Drifting Snow arena, close to Tidesong Cavern on the south-eastern side of Fellfrost Peak. The easiest approach is from the existing waypoint south of the Tidesong Cavern Meeting Point. Teleport there, head east across the frozen ground towards the boss icon, and look for the red Teleport Waypoint beside the arena entrance. Interact with it until the marker turns blue.
You don’t need to defeat the Guardian Blade to activate this waypoint. Open it before starting the boss so returning to farm materials takes a few seconds rather than another journey across Fellfrost Peak. The new point is not the older Fellfrost waypoint reached by travelling uphill from Svetloledovka station.
HoYoverse added this boss-side point on 23 September 2026. The original eight hidden waypoints are still worth checking, but a completed Version 7.0 checklist does not necessarily mean you’ve reached 61/61.

Across the Icebound Snowscape: check these hidden waypoints next
If the new Fellfrost Peak waypoint is already active but Across the Icebound Snowscape still reads 60/61, check the eight older concealed locations. Several are located inside quest-controlled areas. Their icons may not appear like ordinary overworld markers until you’ve progressed through the relevant quest.

House of Hesperides has four separate devices, not one. Players who only reached the castle exterior can be missing several marks. The hidden Snezhnaya waypoint walkthrough covers each of these original eight positions and their access requirements.
How to unlock a waypoint that is hidden behind a quest
For Train Boneyard, complete more of Mean Streets of the Despicable rather than circling the mountains looking for an entrance. For the four castle markers, follow Hesperides of Love and Hate to unlock the interior. The island point requires progress through A Great Heart Fettered by Slender Chains.
One missed waypoint in House of Hesperides is not the same problem as the new boss teleport. Complete the relevant quest until its interior route opens, then look for the red device and activate it. If you’re missing several waypoints, finish the region’s outstanding World and Archon Quests before searching the open landscape again.
How to claim Across the Icebound Snowscape (I)
Open the Achievements menu, select Snezhnaya: Sacred city of ice and pale star (I), then locate Across the Icebound Snowscape (I). The counter should show 61/61 when all counted Teleport Waypoints have been activated on the current version. Claim its five Primogems once available.
If you claimed it during Version 7.0, it remains completed. You may still activate the extra Fellfrost Peak waypoint for convenient future boss farming, but there is no reason to expect the same one-time reward again. If you have not claimed it, revisit the hidden quest locations after checking the boss-side addition.
For Across the Icebound Snowscape at 60/61, take the route east from the Tidesong Cavern Meeting Point’s southern teleport, activate the boss-side waypoint and check the achievement again. If the number doesn’t change, compare your map with the the hidden waypoint checklist, starting with any quest areas you’ve not fully explored.
