ARC Raiders Turbine Locations: All Maps and Update 2.2 Spawns

ARC Raiders Turbine locations are more reliable after the October 20 Update 2.2.0. Embark increased the likelihood of the machine appearing in Buried City, Riven Tides, The Blue Gate and Spaceport. It also removed Turbines from standard Dam Battlegrounds sessions and most of that map’s minor conditions, so choosing the right raid now makes a real difference.

Community maps record 57 possible Turbine positions across six maps. They are places to search, not 57 guaranteed enemies. The guide below pairs those marked areas with Embark’s new rules and explains when the machine appears and how to recover its Compressor.

ARC Raiders Turbine locations and map changes

Embark’s change is about whether a session contains a Turbine. On the four improved maps, a Turbine should now be present in the overwhelming majority of sessions, perhaps all. The patch doesn’t promise one at every marker. Even when a machine is present, it can move away from the area where it first appeared.

A current interactive Turbine map records 12 possible points on Spaceport, 11 on The Blue Gate, 11 on Dam Battlegrounds, nine on Riven Tides, eight on Buried City and six on Pendola Pass. The Dam markers are historical possibilities, and the October patch limits which Dam conditions can use them. Pendola Pass was not among the four maps given the new consistency guarantee.

ARC Raiders Turbine locations: all six maps

MapMapped pointsNamed areas to search
Spaceport12Fuel Lines (two), Launch Towers, Control Tower A6, Container Storage, Departure Building
The Blue Gate11Broken Earth, Ridgeline, Maintenance Wing, Pilgrim’s Peak, Security Wing
Riven Tides9Dried Riverbed, Azzurro Beach, Wreckage, Mulatierra Hill, Weighing Checkpoint
Buried City8Marano Park, Space Travel, Library, Abandoned Highway Camp, Church Ruins
Dam Battlegrounds11Hydroponic Dome Complex (two), Red Lakes Balcony, Pipeline Tower, Power Generation Complex
Pendola Pass6Freight Terminal, Commissary Supermarket, Southern Pass, Cielo Sereno Observatory, Railroad Junction

Use these ARC Raiders Turbine locations as candidate routes rather than fixed encounters. Start with the nearest two or three named locations from your spawn. A marker is a candidate spawn or patrol area, so returning to an empty point doesn’t necessarily help. Specialist gameplay reports also place Turbine arrivals around the middle to later part of a raid, often when roughly 16 to 12 minutes remain; an empty sky at the start isn’t evidence the session has none. If your aim is a particular loot drop, plan extraction before starting a fight. The recorded point counts come from community data, while the changed map rules come directly from Embark.

Spaceport ARC Raiders Turbine locations

Spaceport has the most mapped possibilities, with two around Fuel Lines and others near Launch Towers, Control Tower A6, Container Storage and Departure Building. When your raid starts near Fuel Lines, search the surrounding industrial yards and then move towards the closest of those other zones. From a different insertion point, reverse the route. There’s no reason to cross the whole map before checking an open area you can already see.

Large yards give good sightlines but make you vulnerable to other Raiders. Watch for the huge airborne machine and scan from cover before moving towards it. A Turbine may be circling or landing rather than waiting directly on a map marker. After October 20, the map’s session-level spawn chance is much stronger, but any individual point can still be empty.

Riven Tides ARC Raiders Turbine locations

Riven Tides has nine mapped positions, including Azzurro Beach, Dried Riverbed, Wreckage, Mulatierra Hill and Weighing Checkpoint. The coastline is useful for spotting a hovering Turbine, while buildings and higher ground can hide it until you approach. Start near the shore or open terrain closest to your insertion point, and avoid walking through several dangerous settlements just to check one distant marker.

If you’re collecting other items along the way, our Riven Tides loot guide can help plan a raid that remains useful even without a Turbine kill. These ARC Raiders Turbine locations on the coast are starting points, not guaranteed spawns.

The Blue Gate ARC Raiders Turbine locations

ARC Raiders Turbine locations on The Blue Gate include Broken Earth, Ridgeline, Maintenance Wing, Pilgrim’s Peak and Security Wing, among other areas. The map’s height differences make looking down from a ridge useful. Check where you can see the sky and any broad clearings before committing to a dangerous climb or crossing a guarded compound.

For a shorter search, stay near the Maintenance or Security Wing if you spawn nearby; from higher ground, check Pilgrim’s Peak and the neighbouring ridge instead. Keep a route towards extraction in mind. Embark improved Turbine presence on The Blue Gate, but the patch did not assign the enemy a permanent patrol path.

Buried City ARC Raiders Turbine locations

Eight ARC Raiders Turbine locations are recorded around Buried City, including Marano Park, the Library, Space Travel, Church Ruins and Abandoned Highway Camp. Tall buildings obstruct the skyline, so check broad streets and open squares instead of looking only at your map. A Turbine can be present elsewhere in the session even when one familiar location is empty.

Join a few nearby candidate areas into one short route instead of sprinting across several districts. If another team is already fighting a large ARC, consider whether joining the fight is worth losing your supplies. The October patch makes the enemy more likely to appear somewhere in the raid, not easier to fight or less contested.

ARC Raiders Turbine locations on Dam Battlegrounds and Pendola Pass

Dam Battlegrounds has 11 community markers, including two at Hydroponic Dome Complex and others around Red Lakes Balcony, Pipeline Tower and Power Generation Complex. Standard sessions and most minor map conditions no longer spawn Turbines there. Embark says the remaining eligible conditions should now contain them in most or all sessions, but has not supplied a complete list of those conditions. If you specifically want a Turbine, use one of the four improved maps instead of a standard Dam round.

Pendola Pass has six mapped candidates, including Freight Terminal, Commissary Supermarket, Southern Pass, Cielo Sereno Observatory and Railroad Junction. Update 2.2.0 did not single out Pendola Pass for the consistency increase. Those markers are useful when you’re already completing a Pendola Pass objective, but Spaceport, Blue Gate, Buried City and Riven Tides are stronger deliberate hunting choices.

ARC Raiders Turbine locations: combat and Compressor drops

The Turbine is a huge, heavily armoured ARC that usually avoids a fight until provoked. Watch for it to scatter motion-detection mines, then land and expose the spinning yellow cylinders behind its opened armour. Those cylinders are the weak points. Attack during the grounded phase; firing into the heavy outer plating while it flies is an inefficient use of ammunition. It can still fire electrically charged cluster attacks while grounded. Embark recommends choosing an open fighting area so you can move away from mines and incoming attacks, rather than expecting a wall to stop the electrical blasts. Bring healing, mobility equipment and enough anti-ARC ammunition for several damage windows.

The reward players usually want is the Epic Turbine Compressor. One Compressor and one Power Rod craft a Powered Descender at Utility Station Level 3 after learning its blueprint. A Compressor also appears in Trailblazer blueprint research. You can recycle one into ARC Motion Core and ARC Circuitry, but check your crafting plans before breaking it down.

Don’t farm crashed ARC Couriers for this part. Older May and June guides list Compressor drops from Couriers, but multiple July-through-October player reports and the current item database say that source was removed. For the October build, target Turbines themselves. If you can safely reach a downed Turbine after someone else’s fight, its wreckage may still be worth checking. There is no verified fixed Compressor drop rate.

ARC Raiders Turbine locations not spawning: what to check

First, check your map condition and game version. Standard Dam Battlegrounds is now the wrong place to look. On the four improved maps, move between possible positions; do not confuse one empty marker with a completely empty session. Restart the game if Update 2.2.0 hasn’t installed, and watch the skyline for a moving machine rather than just its initial patrol area.

The 57 mapped ARC Raiders Turbine locations are useful starting points, but an enemy’s position and the time it arrives remain variable. If it still feels unusual after the update, review our Frozen Trail known issues and check Embark’s current notes before assuming an old farming route is broken.
