Genshin Impact 7.2 banners start after the Version 7.2 update on 4 November 2026, with Mitya (Electro) and Furina (Hydro) on separate five-star character wishes. Both feature the same four-star rate-ups: Valeriy, Charlotte and Rosaria.
Phase I runs until 24 November 2026 at 17:59 server time. The matching weapon banner ends on the same day. Check your own in-game countdown, especially if you play on a server in a different region from where you live.
Genshin Impact 7.2 banners: all Phase I characters
The two five-star characters appear on separate event wishes, but both share the same four-star rate-ups:

Valeriy is Electro; Charlotte and Rosaria are Cryo. Pick your banner based on whether you want Mitya or Furina. The four-star pool is identical on both, and neither limited five-star is being added to Wanderlust Invocation.
When do Genshin Impact 7.2 banners end?
Both Phase I character banners begin after maintenance and are listed to finish on Tuesday 24 November 2026 at 17:59. The notice doesn’t present that 17:59 as a single universal timezone for all players. Server-specific wish times matter, especially if you play from outside your account’s game region.
Open Wish and read the countdown attached to your banner before its last day. The maintenance itself is scheduled to start at 22:00 UTC on 3 November and last roughly five hours, so the new wishes are expected after that maintenance ends, not at the moment the servers close.
Do Mitya and Furina share pity?
Yes. The Genshin Impact 7.2 banners share the same pity and guarantee count across Character Event Wish and Character Event Wish-2. Switching from Mitya to Furina doesn’t reset the count you’ve already built up.
Weapon wishes and standard wishes have their own separate counts. If you’ve built pity on either character wish, you can use it on the other. Open Wish → Details for the full guarantee wording before using your remaining Primogems.
When does Valeriy join the standard banner?
Valeriy is featured as an Electro four-star on the Genshin Impact 7.2 banners, but he does not move into the permanent standard wish immediately on 4 November. HoYoverse says he will become available in Wanderlust Invocation in the next version.
Charlotte and Rosaria appear as the Cryo four-star rate-ups in Phase I. If you are mainly looking for Valeriy, you can try for him during this rate-up, but his later arrival in the standard pool is a separate change and does not make this limited-time wish permanent.
What does the Phase I weapon banner include?
The accompanying Epitome Invocation features the five-star Starsealed Edict Catalyst and Splendor of Tranquil Waters Sword. Its five listed four-stars are The Dockhand’s Assistant (Sword), Prospector’s Drill (Polearm), Dawning Frost (Catalyst), Rainslasher (Claymore) and Rust (Bow).
Weapon wishing is separate from the shared Mitya and Furina pity. You can choose one of the promotional weapons using Epitomized Path, but that is a weapon-banner feature, not a way of choosing which character appears on a character wish.
Genshin Impact 7.2 banners and free character trials
HoYoverse confirms that the Test Run character trial event will accompany these wishes. You can enter selected challenges with fixed lineups to try the promoted characters before deciding whether to spend Primogems on their banners.
Complete each trial to claim its listed rewards. Trials don’t give you the featured five-star for free. The Genshin Impact 7.2 banners covered here are the confirmed Phase I wishes through 24 November, so use the separate Phase II notice for the later line-up.
