PokéXciting Pikachu Blue: Singapore Stamp Rally and Location Background

PokéXciting Pikachu Blue is the Singapore version of the special costume Pikachu appearing during Pokémon’s 30th anniversary tour. Two stamp rewards are confirmed. Collect Singapore’s cross-region stamp at Changi Airport Terminal 3, or complete the separate five-stamp rally around Changi Airport and Jewel. Both award an encounter with Blue Pikachu and a Singapore Location Background.

You do not need to visit all five Asia-Pacific cities to earn the Singapore reward. The single Terminal 3 stamp has been available since September 2026, while the local five-stamp activity is connected to Singapore’s 7–8 November celebration. Here’s exactly how the two stamp routes differ, including their locations, rewards and collection windows.

How to get PokéXciting Pikachu Blue

Method	Where	What you collect	Reward
Cross-region GO Stamp Rally	Changi Airport Terminal 3 Departure Hall	One Singapore stamp	PokéXciting! Pikachu (Blue), Singapore Location Background
Changi Airport and Jewel local rally	Designated PokéStops at Changi Airport and Jewel	Five different local stamps	Another PokéXciting! Pikachu (Blue), Singapore Location Background

Each stamp route unlocks an encounter with the special Pikachu. The encounter is the reward, not a Pokémon automatically added to your storage. The stamps themselves are collected at designated PokéStops in person. These are location-specific gameplay activities, not codes that can be redeemed from another country.

PokéXciting Pikachu Blue: the Terminal 3 cross-region stamp

The shortest confirmed route to PokéXciting Pikachu Blue is the special PokéXciting! PokéStop at Changi Airport Terminal 3 Departure Hall. This is Singapore’s entry in the wider Asia-Pacific cross-region stamp rally that began on 12 September 2026.

Each city in that cross-region programme has its own stamp. Collecting Singapore’s stamp rewards Singapore’s Blue Pikachu with its local Location Background; you do not need to finish the other four city stamps first. The Singapore stamp is scheduled to remain available through 11 September 2029, well beyond the November event weekend.

The cross-region programme also includes Kuala Lumpur, Taipei, Manila and Bangkok. Each city has its own regional costume reward; Bangkok’s specific stamp location and dates have not yet been announced. If your goal is Singapore’s Blue Pikachu, it is the Changi Terminal 3 stamp you want, not Kuala Lumpur’s turquoise costume.

PokéXciting Pikachu Blue: the five-stamp Changi and Jewel rally

The second route is a local GO Stamp Rally around Changi Airport and Jewel. It has five stamp designs inspired by Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Pikachu and Lapras. Collect all five in the regional rally to earn another Blue Pikachu encounter featuring the Singapore Location Background.

These are the five stamp designs, not a list of Pokémon spawn locations. Pokémon GO has not published the exact addresses of all five PokéStops. Look for the designated stamps around Changi Airport and Jewel instead of relying on a guessed route.

Pokémon GO’s general PokéXciting! rules state that local stamp rallies remain available for one month after the relevant city’s event begins. This differs from the Terminal 3 cross-region stamp, which has a published end date in September 2029.

When can you collect PokéXciting Pikachu Blue?

Singapore’s main PokéXciting! event runs Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 November 2026, from 10am to 10pm SGT (UTC+8) each day. That is 2am to 2pm GMT in the United Kingdom. In New York, the local equivalent is 9pm on the previous evening until 9am on the event date. The event still takes place physically in Singapore.

The cross-region stamp is already live at Terminal 3 and has a much longer collection window. The five-stamp local rally is associated with Changi Airport and Jewel’s November event. The published month-long local-rally policy is not a guarantee that every other event bonus or research track will remain available after the main two days.

Is Blue PokéXciting Pikachu different from Turquoise?

Yes. PokéXciting Pikachu Blue refers to the Blue costume associated with Singapore. Turquoise is the variant introduced in Kuala Lumpur. Both belong to the anniversary collection, but they have different regional colours. A Kuala Lumpur stamp does not award Singapore’s Blue variant.

The Singapore Location Background is tied to the stamp-rally encounter routes. A wild encounter with a regional Pikachu is not automatically the same as a stamp-reward encounter with the special background. If you want that location-specific souvenir, use one of the two confirmed stamp methods.

Can PokéXciting Pikachu Blue be Shiny?

The Singapore announcement confirms both Blue Pikachu stamp encounters and their Location Backgrounds, but it does not provide a Shiny rate for either reward. Pokémon GO’s wider event announcement lists regional costume Pikachu as Shiny-eligible in the wild. That does not mean either stamp-rally reward guarantees a Shiny.

Do not confuse a costume colour with Shiny availability. Blue describes this Pikachu’s Singapore costume; it is not the standard Shiny colour for Pikachu and it is not another name for Kuala Lumpur’s Turquoise variant.

What happens after you collect the Singapore stamp?

The cross-region stamp is recorded in your in-game Scrapbook and unlocks the associated Singapore Pikachu encounter. For the Changi/Jewel route, finish all five local stamps before claiming the separate Pikachu reward. Both routes explicitly award a Singapore Location Background.

For PokéXciting Pikachu Blue, Terminal 3 is the simplest confirmed stamp location. Collectors who want a second background encounter can complete the separate five-stamp route around Changi Airport and Jewel. Neither requires travelling to other countries, and neither depends on completing Gigantamax Battles.

Other Pokémon GO activities in Singapore

The Blue Pikachu rally is only one part of the weekend. Across Singapore, Pokémon GO has announced two free Timed Research tracks, event Field Research, wild, Lure and Incense encounters, special bonuses and Gigantamax Venusaur, Charizard and Blastoise. They are separate from the physical stamp collection.

For the full event hours, bonuses and activities, see our Pokémon GO PokéXciting Singapore 2026 guide. It also distinguishes the airport-only stamp routes from citywide gameplay.
