Reverse 1999 The Temporal Scale story and Hard Mode both end on Monday 2 November 2026 at 09:59 GMT. You can keep using the event shop until Thursday 5 November at 09:59 GMT, but that extra time is for exchanging Plumb Line, not for going back to finish unfinished stages.
You need to clear Main Story 1ST-16, Heaven Apostles before entering the event. Once you’re in, story chapters, Hard Mode battles and event tasks award Plumb Line. Spend it in the shop, but clear unfinished stages first: their deadline comes three days earlier.
Reverse 1999 The Temporal Scale Event End Dates

Bluepoch uses a fixed UTC-5 offset in its event notice. The story and Hard Mode close at 04:59 UTC-5 on 2 November, which is 09:59 GMT in Britain. The shop stays open for another three days, until 04:59 UTC-5 on 5 November.
| Event part | Last time in the UK |
|---|---|
| Story Mode | 2 November 2026, 09:59 GMT |
| Hard Mode | 2 November 2026, 09:59 GMT |
| Event shop, Plumb Line exchanges | 5 November 2026, 09:59 GMT |
| The Temporal Scale II sign-in | 5 November 2026, 09:59 GMT |
Reverse 1999 The Temporal Scale also has a separate second sign-in period that runs until 5 November. It forms part of a two-stage sign-in event offering 14 Unilog in total across both periods. Those log-in rewards have their own schedule; they don’t extend the main event story.
How to Unlock The Temporal Scale Story and Hard Mode
First, progress through the main campaign until you’ve completed 1ST-16, Heaven Apostles. Once that requirement is met, open the Version 3.8 event area and select The Temporal Scale. Story Mode contains the event narrative and its associated stages, while Hard Mode adds its combat challenges.
Hard Mode became available on 1 October. It isn’t something you need to wait for now: both modes are currently within their final window. The priority is to clear any remaining content you can finish before the shared 2 November cutoff.
How to Earn Plumb Line in Reverse 1999 The Temporal Scale
You earn Plumb Line by completing challenges and event tasks. Check the rewards on unfinished stages and collect anything you’ve earned before the stages close. You can spend the currency in the exchange shop until 5 November.
If you need more Plumb Line, look at the tasks and stages you can still complete. Prioritise unclaimed rewards over repeating battles without checking the return. The official announcement doesn’t specify one universally best farming stage.
Reverse 1999 The Temporal Scale Event Shop Rewards

Bluepoch’s Version 3.8 announcement lists Clear Drops and Plumb Line among the main event rewards, and confirms that Plumb Line can be exchanged for shop items. Open the exchange screen in the event menu to see the exact products, current stock and prices on your account.
Finish the story and Hard Mode before 2 November at 09:59 GMT, then use the remaining three days to spend your Plumb Line. The shop extension won’t let you replay stages that have already expired.
What to Do Before 2 November
Start with unread story chapters and outstanding Hard Mode challenges, then collect available task rewards. Check your Plumb Line total before the story closes so you know what you can spend when only the shop remains.
You can compare the shop items and spend your remaining Plumb Line until 5 November at 09:59 GMT. Finish any stages first; browsing shop prices can wait until after the story deadline.
How This Event Differs From UTTU and Cornerstone
UTTU Scouting Trip: Unrecorded Legends is a separate challenge event, while Cornerstone has a character story and a summon banner. All three finish on 5 November, and none of them extends The Temporal Scale story deadline.
For those deadlines, see our UTTU Unrecorded Legends guide and Cornerstone banner guide. Reverse 1999 The Temporal Scale is specifically the main event’s story, Hard Mode and Plumb Line shop, so check each activity independently.
