Death Endings 1 to 7 award the first seven memories. Death Ending 8 awards Blacksmith and Storage together. Endings 9 to 12 award Collapsing Ceiling, Gunshot, Fall and Freedom in that order.
NIKKE Fading Affection memories from Death Endings
Maria’s Record has twelve Death Endings, and collecting their memories is part of opening its other branches. Death Ending 1 gives Attack; Death Ending 2 gives Trap. Both are needed to explore the commercial building safely.
Storage comes from Death Ending 8, and Collapsing Ceiling from Death Ending 9. Together with Cat, they unlock the choices leading to the lake. These are useful targets if you’re trying to open that area.
If your NIKKE Fading Affection memories collection has an empty slot in the first three rows, use its ending number to decide what to revisit. Recollection shows endings you’ve already earned, and choice markers help distinguish finished branches from those with more to explore.
NIKKE Fading Affection memories: Hunter and Cat
Hunter and Cat are found in the commercial building. Collect Attack from Death Ending 1 and Trap from Death Ending 2 before taking this route.
- Continue ahead and choose to stay alert, using Attack.
- Head left towards the commercial building and enter it.
- Inspect the inside carefully using Trap.
- Avoid the trap and enter the room to collect Hunter.
- Share your food with the cat to receive Cat.
Hunter is awarded after you avoid the trap and enter. Cat is awarded when you share food, so keep your supplies until that encounter. The Cat memory opens a later choice in the hiding-place branch.
How to get Warmth of Life and Path
The hiding-place route awards two NIKKE Fading Affection memories: Warmth of Life and Path. Have Storage, Collapsing Ceiling and Cat in your collection first.
- Look for somewhere to hide using Storage.
- Calm down and search carefully using Collapsing Ceiling.
- Choose the option connected with facing life, using Cat. It awards Warmth of Life.
- Leave the location to earn Path.

NIKKE Fading Affection memories: Lake Rapture and Betrayal
The 504 Error Ending awards Lake Rapture. The True Ending awards Betrayal, the only entry in the seventh row. The Hidden Ending is a separate outcome among the fifteen endings but adds no separate entry to this memory collection.
Those final memories come from special endings rather than the twelve Death Endings. Explore the unlocked lake area for the branch associated with 504 Error, and the True Ending route for Betrayal.
