The Fisch Haunted Cemetery is a special FischFright 3 encounter unlocked through Frankenstein’s eighth ritual. Complete the seven earlier Cemetery recipes, awaken four Skeleton Hands and bring seven Witch’s Ingredients, three coloured Skulls and one Dobhar to the ritual circle. After activation, the group must collect fifteen Haunted Bones and deposit them into an urn before a special fishing pool appears.
Players attempting the Fisch Haunted Cemetery are usually trying to catch Zombie Nessie, one of the fish needed for the later Omniscient ritual. The ritual itself is not a guaranteed Nessie reward: the bone-collection phase and fishing still need to be completed during the encounter. Here’s every offering, the urn mechanic and the catch conditions.
How to unlock Fisch Haunted Cemetery
Take the Flying Dutchman from Moosewood’s eastern dock to Caustic Hallow. Find Frankenstein in the Cemetery at approximately GPS -15104, 146, -9621 and ask to see the available rituals. Fisch Haunted Cemetery is number eight, after Hexed, Scary Relic, Haunted, Jack-o-Moon, Boglin, Dutchman’s Blessing and Enhanced Boglin. Finish those seven before attempting it.
You’ll also need the required Hex Stage progression at Beatrix’s cauldron and four awakened Skeleton Hands. Across the hand-unlocking system, the items include Davy’s, Ethereal, Gourdemort’s and Fable Roses plus a Dark Art Skull. Each item is consumed by the Fisch Haunted Cemetery ceremony. Keep the correct colour Skulls separately, because one Grim Skull doesn’t substitute for Vile or Doomed. The seven Witch’s Ingredients also contribute to Beatrix’s Cauldron, so avoid pressing Offer All if you’re saving them for this recipe. Collect the inventory before paying the 100-Treat activation fee.
Where to find the three coloured Skulls and Dobhar
Skulls are rare drops from the matching Frightful Pool variants, which appear temporarily in the main sea after a server announcement. Grim is pale blue, Vile green and Doomed red. Fish inside the marked pool before its timer expires. You may have to wait through several spawns for each required colour. Dobhar is an event fish associated with Jack-o-Moon nights and the Doomed pool. Catch and retain one for the Fisch Haunted Cemetery hand. Dullahan’s mansion quest also requires Dobhar, so another copy can save you a repeat hunt. Keep rare mutated Jagged Bones too, because higher recipes eventually call for them.
How to start the Fisch Haunted Cemetery event
Return to Frankenstein, select the eighth ritual and pay 100 Treats. Place all seven ingredients into the Jack-o’-Lantern positions, then put Grim, Vile and Doomed Skulls and Dobhar into the four awakened hands. Every offering has to be placed physically before the ritual timer ends. Friends can contribute their own materials during an active ceremony.
When the Fisch Haunted Cemetery ritual succeeds, players enter a timed Cemetery encounter. Published walkthroughs show a roughly three-minute bone-collection phase. Search the graves for Haunted Bones, carry them to the urn in the centre and interact to deposit them. You need fifteen deposited bones to summon the special fishing pool.
How to collect fifteen Haunted Bones
Each player can carry up to three Haunted Bones at one time. Collect three, return to the urn and deposit them, then repeat. Five full deliveries make fifteen bones. With friends, divide the arena into sections and bring bones back together so that the group finishes the objective before time runs out. The urn counter rises only when collected bones are deposited, not while someone is carrying them.
The Fisch Haunted Cemetery pool won’t activate at ten or twelve deposited bones. Check the urn’s progress and make sure every player interacts to complete their delivery. If you are playing solo, prioritise short routes back to the urn instead of collecting bones from the furthest graves first.
How to catch Zombie Nessie
After the fifteenth Haunted Bone is deposited, the Zombie Nessie fishing pool becomes available. Cast into the active water with Black Licorice bait. Zombie Nessie prefers Autumn, night and Jack-o-Moon weather. Bring the rod and bait before the ritual starts so you can use the available fishing window rather than sorting through inventory.
A successful Fisch Haunted Cemetery ritual gives you access to the encounter, not a guaranteed catch. If the fish doesn’t bite or you fail to reel it in before the pool closes, you may need to repeat the ritual and bone phase. Keep your first Zombie Nessie for the Omniscient ritual, where the physical fish item is required as an offering.
Why isn’t the Fisch Haunted Cemetery working?
If Frankenstein won’t start the recipe, check that Enhanced Boglin and all earlier rituals are finished and four hands are active. If an offering is rejected, inspect its exact item name and the Skull colour. If the Cemetery encounter starts but the fishing pool is missing, confirm the urn contains all fifteen Haunted Bones, not just bones your group collected but hasn’t deposited.
For the Fisch Haunted Cemetery, preparation is the main time-saver. Bring every offering and Black Licorice, organise friends for the urn phase and move directly to the pool when it appears.
