GTA Online Survival is the Halloween Weekly Challenge for October 22–28, 2026. Finish every wave of an eligible Survival to earn GTA$150,000 and the Gray Space Interloper Outfit. A failed run at wave ten does not qualify; stay for the completed-job results screen after clearing the final wave.
The event also pays triple GTA$ and RP on Halloween Survivals, or six times the usual amount for eligible GTA+ members. You can try Ludendorff Cemetery, Cayo Perico or Alien Survivals, but a familiar map with defensible cover is the better choice if you only care about getting the outfit before the next weekly rotation.

Check the in-game Weekly Challenge panel before joining. The wording for Week 4 is a successful full Survival, while the following week’s task explicitly adds the no-death restriction. Completing all five October and early November Weekly Challenges also qualifies for Rockstar’s separate GTA$2,000,000 bonus.
How to start a GTA Online Survival job
Open GTA Online’s pause menu and select Online → Jobs → Play Job → Rockstar Created → Survivals. Choose an available Survival or join the featured Halloween rotation. Invite friends if you’re planning to hold a position together, or use matchmaking for a group.
Bring body armour, snacks and plenty of ammunition. A rifle with accurate sustained fire will cover most approaches, while explosives can clear groups if you use them from a safe distance. Don’t rely on a last-second armour refill while enemies are already standing beside you.
Best way to finish all ten waves
For a standard GTA Online Survival job, choose cover with visible approaches and at least one exit if enemies flank you. In the first waves, identify the main spawn directions. It’s tempting to chase stragglers across the map, but that can leave you exposed when the next cluster arrives.
With a team, cover different lanes and call out enemies arriving in vehicles. Keep close enough to support each other without standing in one small spot where everyone takes the same incoming fire. Reload and recover during quieter moments, then hold a good position when the final wave starts.
When playing GTA Online Survival solo on a map that permits it, moving between strong cover points is essential. Break line of sight before healing, preserve explosives for clustered threats and resist running into the open just to kill the last remaining enemy. If a map keeps beating you, a co-op clear is a faster route to the reward.
GTA Online Survival: which Halloween maps count?
Rockstar’s October lineup includes Ludendorff Cemetery Survival, Cayo Perico Survival and Alien Survivals. These modes provide additional event GTA$ and RP, but the challenge isn’t restricted to one named location. Check the result screen and the Weekly Challenge tracker after your completed job.
The special Halloween maps aren’t automatically easier. Ludendorff Cemetery brings unusual enemies and long sightlines; unfamiliar routes can make you lose health before the hardest waves. Use the map whose hiding spots and enemy approaches you already know. If a map repeatedly defeats your team in the final waves, switch to a familiar Rockstar-created Survival for a straightforward full clear.
GTA Online Survival reward not appearing?
First make sure the Survival ended successfully. Leaving before the result screen or failing in the final round won’t count. If the Weekly Challenge panel shows complete, check your outfits after changing GTA Online sessions. Don’t confuse the Gray Space Interloper Outfit with the White & Red Tech Demon Mask, which is a separate Week 4 login reward.
If the tracker remains unchanged, try a Rockstar-created Survival rather than a different community wave mode. Keep screenshots of the final results and objective status if you need Rockstar Support to investigate. This week’s wording does not require you to survive without dying; that condition belongs to October 29–November 4.
What else to claim before October 28
After completing GTA Online Survival, check the full Halloween Week 4 overview and five-week GTA$2 million tracker. You can also complete all three Short Trips for the week’s separate GTA$500,000 promotion.
The collectible routes for Ghosts Exposed and Jack O’Lanterns can be completed independently of your Survival clear. Don’t leave the Weekly Challenge until the evening of October 28 when a failed late wave might force another full attempt.
