GTA Online Ghost Locations 2026 are spread across Blaine County and Los Santos, and the Ghosts Exposed Halloween hunt asks you to photograph ten spirits at particular times of night. Catch them all and you’ll earn the Ghosts Exposed Tactical Jacket, alongside cash and RP for your photographs.
Each of the first nine ghosts has two possible nearby positions. Check both during its one-hour in-game window before moving on. Devin Weston is the final ghost, unlocked only after sending the other nine photographs. The timetable below covers both spawn points for each ghost, with the final Devin Weston photograph unlocked after the other nine are sent.

The GTA Online Ghost Locations above use GTA Online’s in-game clock, not the real clock on your phone or console. Ghosts Exposed starts at 20:00 in-game, and every normal apparition remains available for an hour. Midnight belongs to Devin, but his ghost stays locked until you’ve sent photographs of the other nine.
How to Photograph GTA Online Ghost Locations
The GTA Online Ghost Locations hunt begins with a Ghosts Exposed message in Free Mode. At a ghost’s location, open the camera on your in-game phone and take a photograph with the apparition clearly in frame. Choose Send to Ghosts Exposed. Simply saving the photo to the gallery doesn’t register it.
Check your progress through Interaction Menu → Collectibles. If the counter hasn’t moved, try a clearer photo and make sure you’ve actually sent it. You only need one photograph of each ghost, even though the first nine can appear in either of two places.
GTA Online Ghost Locations: Ghost 1 at Paleto Bay
Between 20:00 and 21:00, look towards the attic window at the front of the old Paleto Bay house. If nothing appears, walk behind the building and check the little shed-like extension’s window. Both positions belong to the same ghost.
Ghost 2: Los Santos Overpass Camp
Between 21:00 and 22:00, head below the overpass to the homeless encampment. The ghost stands either among the rubble beside the graffiti-covered wall or near the tarp shelter and old sofa. Check both ends of the makeshift camp.
GTA Online Ghost Locations: Ghost 3 at Grapeseed
Between 22:00 and 23:00, enter the area outside the western Grapeseed wooden barn. Look up into its hayloft from the main opening near the tractor and hose reel. Your target can stand on the left or the right side.

Ghost 4: Exceptionalists Way bridge pylon
Between 23:00 and midnight, check the upper platform of the bridge pylon beside the airport entrance on Exceptionalists Way. One position faces the Downtown skyline; the other faces the airport. Bring a helicopter or another flying vehicle to get a clear shot.
Ghost 5: El Gordo Lighthouse
Between 01:00 and 02:00, search El Gordo Lighthouse. The ghost may be on the lower platform beside the railing near the door, or in the lantern room at the very top. Don’t leave before checking both heights.
Ghost 6: Cypress Flats railway
Between 02:00 and 03:00, visit the railway between the industrial warehouses in Cypress Flats. Look at the hook hanging from the gantry crane, then at the upper platform near the RAVEN building’s door and orange ladder.
GTA Online Ghost Locations: Ghost 7 at Zancudo River
Between 03:00 and 04:00, find the ruined house beside the Zancudo River. Look through the side shed window first, then at the left side of its front porch roof. The ghost can appear at either position.
Ghost 8: Little Seoul church belfry
Between 04:00 and 05:00, point the camera up at the Little Seoul church bell tower. The ghost stands inside an arched belfry opening on one of two sides. A helicopter makes both possible positions easier to inspect.
GTA Online Ghost Locations: Ghost 9 at Tongva Hills
Between 05:00 and 06:00, visit the waterfall in Tongva Hills. Search the rocky ledge next to the falls from the pool below, then check the grassy bank near the stream at the top. This is the final normal Ghosts Exposed photo you need.

GTA Online Ghost Locations: Finding the Final Devin Weston Ghost
Devin Weston appears from 00:00 to 01:00, but only when your Ghosts Exposed progress already reads 9/10. Travel to the Paleto Cove cliff in the north-west, at the rocky point associated with his ending in GTA V. Stand at the edge and aim out across the water; Devin floats a short distance beyond the cliff.
You’ll normally return on a later in-game night, because Ghost 9 appears in the morning after that night’s midnight window. Wait at the cliff shortly before 00:00 and photograph Devin once he materialises. If the counter is still below 9/10, return for whichever normal ghost is missing.
Best Route for All GTA Online Ghost Locations
Trying to visit all the GTA Online Ghost Locations in numerical order sends you back and forth across the entire map. Split the Ghosts Exposed hunt into two nights or more, using northern and city routes. You’ll have time to check both spawn points instead of arriving as the apparition disappears.
- Northern circuit: Paleto Bay at 20:00, Grapeseed at 22:00, El Gordo Lighthouse at 01:00, Zancudo River at 03:00, and Tongva Hills at 05:00.
- City circuit: overpass camp at 21:00, Exceptionalists Way pylon at 23:00, Cypress Flats railway at 02:00, and Little Seoul church at 04:00.
- Final stop: once you have nine registered photos, visit the Paleto Cove cliff between midnight and 01:00 for Devin Weston.
A flying vehicle makes the bridge pylon and church tower much easier, and lets you cross the map quickly when needed. You can spread the Ghosts Exposed photos over several in-game nights. Your collection progress doesn’t require one uninterrupted circuit.
GTA Online Ghost Locations Rewards: Ghosts Exposed Jacket and GTA$
All ten successful submissions unlock the Ghosts Exposed Tactical Jacket, found in your clothing collection under Tactical Jackets. The normal payout is GTA$20,000 and 500 RP per ghost, plus GTA$50,000 for completing all ten. That’s GTA$250,000 and 5,000 RP before event boosts.

GTA Online Ghost Locations Not Appearing?
If a GTA Online Ghost Locations stop looks empty, check the clock first. Each ghost has a specific appearance window, and a different spot a few steps away may be the answer. For high locations, step back or use a flying vehicle. For Devin Weston, confirm nine earlier photographs were sent to Ghosts Exposed, not simply stored.
Once you’ve photographed all ten GTA Online Ghost Locations, the Ghosts Exposed hunt is complete and the Tactical Jacket is yours. Use the table to revisit any missed hours, and remember the northern-and-city split if you want to avoid another long chase across Los Santos.
