Pearl materials in Honkai: Star Rail cost 308,000 Credits, 65 Sea Siren’s Torn Fins, 15 Whimsy Wax, 15 Dreamweave Steel and 15 Lucid Awl to finish all six character ascensions. Traces need separate Elation Calyx materials and weekly boss drops. Those quantities are for level-cap ascension only, not for maxing every ability.
Farm Pearl materials by clearing Stagnant Shadow: Shape of Sirens for the Torn Fins, collecting Imagenated enemy drops and running the Elation Crimson Calyx for Trace upgrades. The tables below show each level gate and the full-tree Trace items, so you can budget Trailblaze Power without mixing costs together.

These costs unlock the level cap. Add character EXP books and the Credits needed for levelling. The first two gates don’t use the Stagnant Shadow boss drop; they use basic Whimsy Wax.

The 65 Torn Fins are spread across Pearl’s final four upgrades. The Pearl materials table lets you stop at a chosen level if you don’t yet have the energy to finish the full farm.
Where to get Sea Siren’s Torn Fin
Open the Interastral Guide and navigate to Stagnant Shadow: Shape of Sirens in Warbling Shores, Styxia. The boss is the Lady of Crashing Waves. Each claimed reward costs 30 Trailblaze Power. Keep clearing it until you have the necessary Torn Fins, subtracting any already in your inventory.
For Pearl materials, this is the targeted ascension farm. You may also use Omni-Synthesizer Material Exchange where available, but doing so spends conversion resources. If the stage isn’t accessible, follow its map marker and check regional unlocks.

These Pearl materials for Traces are separate from level ascension. Farm the three Fluffy tiers through the Elation Crimson Calyx and use the Omni-Synthesizer to exchange eligible lower-tier pieces. Maxed Traces also consume additional Whimsy-family drops and Credits; some published combined totals differ, so check the individual Trace requirements in-game before converting your stockpile.
Weekly boss material and priority
High Hopes of the Falsely Enlightened is the named Echo of War material for Pearl’s high-level Traces. Twelve copies are listed for the full tree. Use the Source link in her Trace menu to locate the appropriate weekly encounter once you’ve unlocked it.
Because weekly rewards are limited, spend these Pearl materials carefully. Pearl’s Skill, Ultimate and Talent support her healing, protection and ally action management. Where to farm Whimsy Wax and higher tiers
Imagenated enemies drop Whimsy Wax and its higher-grade relatives, Dreamweave Steel and Lucid Awl. You can also check eligible Assignments, exchanges and synthesis. Keep enough Wax for early gates instead of converting all of it into higher-tier pieces at once.
When gathering Pearl materials, check your current inventory before farming each source. The 15/15/15 ascension target doesn’t include the extra copies consumed by Traces, so finishing the ascension checklist does not mean you’ll never need the enemy drops again.
What to farm first
Collect the ascension boss materials, then gather enough Fluffy Trace items for the key abilities. Fit weekly Echo of War claims into the schedule. Use remaining Trailblaze Power on Credits or EXP, whichever is holding back the build. There’s no need to max every Trace before equipping Pearl with usable Relics.
