Monster Hunter Now Halloween 2026 runs from October 26 to November 8, with a 10× boost to the Jack-o’-Head’s Partbreaker (Halloween) skill, returning seasonal armour and weapons, and two reward exchanges. Start by collecting Halloween Exchange Tokens for the Harvest Cloak. On 2 November, pumpkin-carrying Kulu-Ya-Ku and the EX Exchange Hub arrive.
The deadlines that matter are 8 November for earning Exchange Tokens and 15 November for spending them. The Halloween 2026 I quests continue until 8 November, even though the monster rotation changes on 2 November.

All times are local time according to the official announcement. You only need to finish the prologue to access the event quests. The Monster Hunter Now Halloween 2026 quests appear under Special Quests. You need to finish the prologue, not the whole current season story.
Jack-o’-Head, Ghost Balloon and Partbreaker (Halloween)
Jack-o’-Head and Ghost Balloon armour return. The Jack-o’-Head no longer grants Solidarity (Halloween); instead it has Partbreaker (Halloween), Advanced Partbreaker and Pursuit. The seasonal Partbreaker effect normally adds 5% part damage to breakable monster parts, but its effect is multiplied 10× during the event.
During the event, the Halloween-specific effect increases part damage by 50%. It doesn’t make ordinary Partbreaker ten times stronger. You must wear the Jack-o’-Head as actual armour; using only its layered appearance will not activate the abilities. Restarting the app may be necessary for the updated skill to apply.

Skullwhistle and Squawkscythe: forging and styles
Monster Hunter Now Halloween 2026 has two returning weapon upgrade lines. Skullwhistle is the Paralysis Hunting Horn, while Cawscythe becomes Squawkscythe at Grade 6 and is a Dragon-element Long Sword. Both Skullwhistle and the upgraded Squawkscythe qualify for the 2026 style-customisation feature. Forging tickets come from the first Halloween questline, while weapon upgrade tickets help raise their grade and level.
The separate weapon upgrade ticket guide covers farming and deadlines. For Grade 8 style progression, see Halloween Weapon Style Customization. You can also earn Halloween 2026 Exchange Tokens while you hunt, and Mysterious Driftstone V is another reason to target featured monsters.
How to get Halloween Forging and Upgrade Tickets
The Monster Hunter Now Halloween 2026 I questline runs from 26 October at 9 AM until 8 November at 11:59 PM local time, even though Part I’s boosted monster rotation ends on 2 November. Its quest rewards include the Halloween 2026 Medal, Event Tiers and Reissue Halloween Forging Tickets for Skullwhistle, Cawscythe, Jack-o’-Head and Ghost Balloon. Halloween Weapon Upgrade Tickets come from large monster hunts, Elder Dragon Interceptions, event quests and the exchange. Halloween Armor Upgrade Tickets are stocked in the normal and EX exchange hubs.
Until November 15, tickets can replace zenny and certain gatherable materials for upgrades through specified grades. After that reduced-cost window, the required material types and quantities change. The weapons Skullwhistle and Squawkscythe also gain style customization, with materials earned from 8-star hunts, elder dragons, exchanges and the Event Pass.
Harvest Cloak and Halloween 2026 Exchange Tokens
Earn Halloween 2026 Exchange Tokens from slaying large monsters, slaying or repelling elder dragons, completing designated quests and breaking monster parts. The ordinary Halloween Exchange Hub has the new Harvest Cloak chest layered equipment, a Halloween 2026 guild card background and Armor Upgrade Tickets.
The Harvest Cloak is a layered appearance, not a replacement for combat armour with extra stats. Check the in-game Exchange Hub for each reward’s actual price before spending tokens. You can spend tokens until November 15, a full week after the main Monster Hunter Now Halloween 2026 hunt window closes.
Pumpkin Kulu-Ya-Ku and the EX Exchange Hub
Starting November 2 at 9 AM local time, certain Kulu-Ya-Ku carry pumpkin-shaped rocks. Defeat these special monsters and break parts to earn Halloween 2026 EX Exchange Tokens. They are not guaranteed on every Kulu-Ya-Ku you meet, as the announcement says the themed ones appear in relatively small numbers.
The EX hub offers Black Diablos Riftshell, Aurora Somnacanth Archshell and Limited Ultra Hunting Tickets. Pumpkin Kulu-Ya-Ku can also appear through the Monster Tracker during the event. Any Limited Ultra Hunting Ticket you claim must be used before November 22 at 11:59 PM local time.
Monster appearances and event bonuses
In Part I, the boosted lineup includes Aurora Somnacanth, Black Diablos, Somnacanth, Legiana, Stygian Zinogre, Espinas, Brute Tigrex and Bazelgeuse. Part II keeps Aurora Somnacanth and Black Diablos while adding Azure Rathalos, Glavenus, Brachydios, Viper Tobi-Kadachi, Kulu-Ya-Ku and Deviljho. Target whichever monsters you still need materials from while hunting for your event currency.
Across Monster Hunter Now Halloween 2026, part breaks reward double materials, the access circle is increased by 50%, small monster and gathering point materials are doubled, and Hunt-a-thons and Elder Dragon Interceptions remain available around the clock. Featured large monsters and elder dragons guarantee the new Mysterious Driftstone V instead of regular driftstones; it may grant Critical Range Boost, Ice Attack, Charge Master or Partbreaker.
Monster Hunter Now Halloween 2026 Pass and Scarecrow Legs
The Monster Hunter Now Halloween 2026 Pass has both free and paid Premium plans. Completing the MH Now Halloween 2026 I quests increases Event Tiers and unlocks rewards on the Free Plan. Buying the Premium Plan opens its additional tier rewards; it isn’t required to start the event quests. The announcement confirms Black Diablos Riftshell and materials for weapon style unlocking and progression, but does not publish each tier’s reward or the Premium price. Skullwhistle and Squawkscythe are the two returning weapons confirmed for style customization, with materials from 8★ hunts, Elder Dragon Interceptions and the pass.
The separate paid Scarecrow Legs Premium Quest awards a forging ticket, ten Friend Link Tokens and ten Tracker Scopes. This is a separate paid Shop quest, not a free Friend Link Token source. Its exclusive leg armour grants Critical Ferocity Lv2 and gains a driftsmelting slot at Grade 8. Check the Shop for the current price and quest objectives before buying. Monster Hunter Now Halloween 2026 offers this premium quest separately from the free seasonal quests. The armour uses Halloween Armor Upgrade Tickets in applicable discounted upgrade stages, while its equipment boost ends November 8.
Mysterious Driftstone V and Halloween upgrade tickets
Featured large monsters and elder dragons guarantee Mysterious Driftstone V during Monster Hunter Now Halloween 2026. It can grant Critical Range Boost, Ice Attack, Charge Master or Partbreaker; the developer has not published the odds of individual skills. Monster Hunter Now Halloween 2026 also guarantees coloured driftstones from nonfeatured large monsters instead, which cannot drop Mysterious Driftstone V during the event. Eligible driftstones obtained during the event need just 1 km for driftsmelting. For gear, Reissue Halloween Forging Tickets create returning weapons and armour, Halloween Weapon Upgrade Tickets improve seasonal weapons, and Halloween Armor Upgrade Tickets improve seasonal armour. The discounted upgrade requirements end November 15, one week after the event’s equipment boost.
Monster Hunter Now Halloween 2026 Discord costume contest
The official Monster Hunter Now Halloween 2026 Discord contest is running alongside the in-game hunts. Submit a Halloween-themed layered equipment outfit in the official Discord’s designated thread by 30 October at 2:59 PM GMT. If your outfit is chosen as a nominee, you’ll receive an offer redemption code for two Friend Link Tokens and two First-Aid Meds. Posting an outfit doesn’t automatically qualify you for this prize.
Voting runs 2–6 November, ending at 2:59 PM GMT on 6 November. Everyone who votes for a nominated entry can get a different code worth two Friend Link Tokens and a Premium Well-Done Steak, even if they never submitted a costume. The official announcement says codes may take several days to arrive. Check the Discord voting post for its exact voting controls rather than guessing which reactions count.
Monster Hunter Now Halloween 2026 daily token boost
There’s also a separate Season 11 Wave 2 bonus running during Monster Hunter Now Halloween 2026. Daily Supply Items currently give two Friend Link Tokens instead of one, from 19 October until 23 November at 4:59 AM local time. The free Friend Link limit for 7★ or lower marked-monster hunts is doubled to 18 joins per day, and the daily limit for joins consuming tokens is temporarily 40. Those figures are from the official Wave 2 announcement, rather than the baseline Friend Link FAQ. Don’t confuse this free daily bonus with the paid Scarecrow Legs quest’s ten-token reward.
What to do before November 8
Start with the Halloween 2026 I quests and the free Event Pass rewards. Forge Jack-o’-Head early to use its boosted part-break skill and work towards the Harvest Cloak. You can complete the main event without paying for Premium.
For Monster Hunter Now Halloween 2026, break parts wherever you can for the bonus rewards. From 2 November, hunt pumpkin Kulu-Ya-Ku for EX Tokens. Finish event hunts by 8 November and use both Exchange Hubs by 15 November, before the exchange materials are removed.
