Halloween 2026 Exchange Tokens are the main event currency in Monster Hunter Now from October 26 to November 8. Earn them through large-monster hunts, Elder Dragon Interceptions, certain Halloween quests and part-break rewards. Spend the currency on the Harvest Cloak layered equipment, a limited-edition guild card background or Halloween Armor Upgrade Tickets before the Exchange Hub closes on November 15.

There are actually two Halloween currencies this year, and mixing them up makes it easy to farm the wrong activity. Halloween 2026 Exchange Tokens work in the ordinary event hub; the EX version arrives on November 2 and is tied specifically to pumpkin-carrying Kulu-Ya-Ku. This guide covers the best confirmed ways to earn the normal currency, both shops’ named rewards and the separate expiry dates.

How to earn Halloween 2026 Exchange Tokens

Halloween 2026 Exchange Tokens are awarded from slaying large monsters, slaying or repelling elder dragons and completing certain quests. Breaking monster parts is an additional confirmed token source. Because the event gives double rewards for part breaks, aiming for breakable parts is especially appealing if you are comfortable with a suitable weapon and can still finish hunts consistently.

The Jack-o’-Head and Partbreaker guide explains why the returning Jack-o’-Head is particularly useful for part-break hunting: its Partbreaker (Halloween) skill adds 5% accumulated damage to breakable parts normally, increased tenfold during this event. That doesn’t increase the ordinary Partbreaker skill tenfold. Use it as real armour rather than layered equipment if you want that effect. The broader Halloween 2026 event guide also lists the active field bonuses.

Fastest confirmed token farming approach

The developer does not provide a guaranteed Halloween 2026 Exchange Tokens per-minute ranking, drop-rate comparison or exact per-monster quantities. The dependable approach is to hunt large monsters you can defeat regularly, target breakable parts when possible and complete the Halloween 2026 I quests for extra rewards. Elder Dragon Interceptions count as another source if you are already doing them for materials.

Group hunts add a guaranteed second monster-material slot during the event, while small-monster slays and gathering points provide double materials. These are useful bonuses, but they are not stated to multiply the number of Halloween 2026 Exchange Tokens earned directly. The 50% larger access range may make more hunts convenient. You can combine token farming with the Harvest Cloak guide objective rather than travelling only for one kind of reward.

Halloween 2026 Exchange Tokens can buy the three named reward categories from the ordinary hub. The official news article does not list every item, exact stock limit or exchange cost. It’s not possible to publish an accurate prices table from this source alone. If you’re aiming for a limited cosmetic, check its price in game before spending ordinary currency on more upgrade tickets than you need.

The Harvest Cloak is layered chest equipment, so it changes appearance rather than adding a combat armour skill. Halloween Armor Upgrade Tickets, by contrast, can level up or overgrade Jack-o’-Head, Ghost Balloon and Scarecrow Legs during the discounted period. Consult the Harvest Cloak guide page for the cosmetic itself and the Jack-o’-Head and Partbreaker guide if you’re trying to maximise the part-break bonus while collecting tokens.

How EX tokens are different

Halloween 2026 Exchange Tokens should not be confused with Halloween 2026 EX Exchange Tokens. From November 2 at 9 AM local time, certain Kulu-Ya-Ku carry pumpkin-shaped rocks. Slay those special monsters or break their parts to earn EX tokens, which can then be used in the second hub. The developer calls the pumpkin carriers relatively uncommon, but confirms that Kulu-Ya-Ku found through the Monster Tracker also carry the pumpkin during the event.

The EX rewards named in the announcement are Black Diablos Riftshell, Aurora Somnacanth Archshell and Limited Ultra Hunting Tickets. Regular currency won’t replace EX currency. For more detail on the monster variant and hunting window, see the pumpkin Kulu-Ya-Ku guide. Both exchanges permit players to spend remaining currency until November 15.

When do Halloween tokens expire?

Halloween 2026 Exchange Tokens can be earned from October 26 at 9 AM through November 8 at 11:59 PM local time. EX tokens can be earned from November 2 at 9 AM through the same November 8 cutoff. The Halloween exchanges remain available until November 15 at 11:59 PM local time, after which leftover exchangeable materials are removed from the Item Box.

There is one later expiry as well: Limited Ultra Hunting Tickets claimed from the EX Hub must be used by November 22 at 11:59 PM local time. The reduced requirements for Halloween equipment upgrades also end November 15. Those dates don’t extend the period for earning Halloween 2026 Exchange Tokens, so concentrate your monster hunting before November 8 and handle exchanges afterwards if needed.

How should you spend Halloween 2026 Exchange Tokens?

If cosmetics are your priority, check the Harvest Cloak and the Halloween 2026 guild card background before allocating Halloween 2026 Exchange Tokens to repeatable materials. If you’re upgrading Halloween armour, compare your next ticket requirements with the number of days left in the reduced-cost period. No exact official price list has been made public yet, so the optimal spending order depends on the real Exchange Hub stock.

Remember that event quest rewards and the Halloween 2026 Pass offer additional progress elsewhere, but they don’t make ordinary and EX tokens interchangeable. The Halloween 2026 event guide covers the whole celebration, while the pumpkin Kulu-Ya-Ku guide is a separate guide to the second week’s pumpkin hunts. Check the hub itself for final item costs and make sure all Halloween 2026 Exchange Tokens are spent before November 15.
