Monster Hunter Now Costume Contest is a Halloween 2026 Discord competition where players share spooky layered equipment outfits and vote for their favourites. Entries close at 2:59 PM GMT on Friday 30 October. Voting runs from 2 to 6 November, and you can vote for nominated outfits even if you haven’t entered one yourself.
There are two different reward codes. Shortlisted entrants get two Friend Link Tokens and two First-Aid Meds; voters get two Friend Link Tokens and a Premium Well-Done Steak. You don’t need to be shortlisted to earn the voting reward.

Monster Hunter Now Costume Contest: How to enter the Halloween Discord contest
Join the official Monster Hunter Now Discord, which operates in English and Japanese. Put together a Halloween-themed layered equipment look in the game and take a clear screenshot of your hunter. On the server, locate the designated Halloween costume submission thread and post your look there before the deadline. Use the instructions pinned in that thread for any required entry format. Use the designated contest thread, not general chat, so your entry actually reaches the organisers. Submitting to the Monster Hunter Now Costume Contest doesn’t guarantee a prize: only selected nominees get the entrant bundle.
Entry deadline: 30 October
The submission window runs from 26 October 2026 at 12:00 AM UTC to 30 October at 2:59 PM UTC. In the UK that closing time is Friday 30 October at 2:59 PM GMT, because British Summer Time ended on 25 October. The Monster Hunter Now Costume Contest deadline applies to costume submissions; it is not the same as the Halloween event’s 8 November finish or the separate voting deadline. Post before the cutoff rather than relying on a last-minute edit or a delayed Discord upload.
Prizes for nominated outfits
If your submitted layered equipment look is selected as a nominee, the official announcement promises an offer redemption code worth two Friend Link Tokens and two First-Aid Meds. Merely sharing an outfit doesn’t qualify automatically. The official announcement doesn’t promise a reward for every entry or name an extra guaranteed prize for the overall winner. Return to the contest thread to see which outfits were nominated and how the reward codes will be sent.
Monster Hunter Now Costume Contest: voting from 2 November
The Monster Hunter Now Costume Contest vote opens Monday 2 November at 12:00 AM UTC and closes Friday 6 November at 2:59 PM UTC. Those are also GMT times in Britain. Visit the official Discord during that window, find the nominated looks and follow the channel’s voting instructions to select your favourite. Follow the official voting post’s instructions. Reacting to a screenshot in another channel might not register as a vote. You can receive the Monster Hunter Now Costume Contest voting reward without having submitted an outfit.
Monster Hunter Now Costume Contest: Free rewards for voting
Everyone who votes for a favourite nominated entry is eligible for an offer redemption code for two Friend Link Tokens and one Premium Well-Done Steak. That’s a different bundle from the nomination prize. You don’t have to upload an outfit to receive it. The Monster Hunter Now Costume Contest uses separate nomination and voting codes, so follow the instructions for whichever applies to you. If you’re only after free Tokens, you can skip the entry and vote when the shortlist goes live.
How to redeem the reward code
After you’ve received a contest code, go to the official Monster Hunter Now offer redemption page. Sign in with the same Monster Hunter Now account you play on, choose offer redemption and paste the code without spaces. Successful redemption adds the items to your item box. The redemption page requires a Google login linked to your existing game account. If you use only Apple sign-in, add Google as a login method in-game first. Code delivery can take several days, so don’t expect a prize immediately after pressing the voting control. Check your Discord messages or the contest’s official code-delivery instructions.
Missing entries, votes or reward codes
First check that you’re in the official Monster Hunter Now server and using the dedicated contest thread. If the entry thread is closed, the 30 October deadline may have passed; voting doesn’t begin until 2 November. For voting, ensure you are selecting one of the nominated looks rather than reacting to a non-nominated image. If the offer redemption code hasn’t arrived, allow several days and check any instructions in the campaign thread. If your code is rejected, verify you’re signed into the correct game account, that you copied it accurately and that your item box has room. The official code-help page says restarting the app can resolve a delayed inventory update.
More Halloween rewards outside Discord
The Monster Hunter Now Costume Contest is a Discord community promotion, not the same thing as Halloween Part I’s special quests or the paid Halloween Pass. The wider Monster Hunter Now Halloween 2026 event runs from 26 October to 8 November. Completing the prologue grants access to its seasonal quests, while Discord participation requires access to the external official server. Daily Supply Items give two free Friend Link Tokens during Season 11 Wave 2, and successful invitations can earn more. Neither requires taking part in the costume competition.
