MM2 Emberbow is an Ancient Gun at the end of Murder Mystery 2’s 2026 Halloween Battle Pass. You need to progress through the 30-tier event reward track and pay 100,000 Candies for the final Emberbow reward. It isn’t the Godly weapon in the Halloween Box, and opening boxes won’t unlock it.
You’ll need both weapons if your goal is to craft the new Ancient Emberscythe. You need Emberbow from the pass and Embersickle from the seasonal weapon box, then you take both to the Cauldron. Here’s how the pass works, where the Candy goes and what to check before you spend it.
How to unlock MM2 Emberbow from the Halloween Battle Pass
Join Nikilis’s Murder Mystery 2 Halloween 2026 event and open the seasonal Battle Pass in the Retro Halloween lobby. The reward track has thirty tiers. Its first reward is free, while later tiers consume Candies earned during ordinary rounds and event objectives. Progress through the earlier items until the final Emberbow reward becomes available.
The MM2 Emberbow is tied to Tier 30, so simply holding 100,000 Candies isn’t enough if you haven’t advanced through the preceding rewards. Once the final tier is unlocked, pay its displayed cost and collect the Ancient Gun. Check your inventory’s weapon collection to confirm it’s there before using it for crafting.

How many Candies does Emberbow cost?
The final Emberbow unlock costs 100,000 Candies. However, that does not cover the preceding tiers. The current 2026 Battle Pass lists earlier levels at 600 Candies each, and the first level is free. Completing the earlier tiers before buying the gun adds a substantial cost.
The first reward is free. Tiers 2–29 cost 600 Candies each, giving 28 × 600 = 16,800 Candies before the final weapon. Add the 100,000-Candy Emberbow to reach 116,800 Candies. Some current event listings give 117,400 Candies instead, counting one more 600-Candy step at Tier 30. Check whether your final Pass screen charges that extra amount. For MM2 Emberbow, budget the higher total if you want to be certain you have enough for the final purchase.
What rewards come before Emberbow?
The Battle Pass offers seasonal knives and guns, a Zombie Plush toy, a Zombie weapon effect, Broom, Cauldron and Haunted House cosmetics, plus Halloween Keys. Many keys sit on the odd-numbered tiers, and the penultimate tier awards the Emberknife. You can collect these while progressing towards the Ancient Gun.
For MM2 Emberbow, Halloween Keys are especially useful because each can open one Halloween Box without spending another 600 Candies. This lets you try for Embersickle, the second crafting component, while continuing to save your event currency for Emberbow.

How to earn the Candy needed for MM2 Emberbow
During Halloween, Candy appears around maps in place of Coins. Play rounds, walk over pickups and work on Daily Quests when they’re available. Those tasks can provide additional progress, so check the event menu each time you join instead of simply running around collecting pickups with no other goal.
A player targeting the MM2 Emberbow should avoid using every 600-Candy spare amount on boxes. The Battle Pass rewards Halloween Keys, which are a different way to open the box. Our MM2 Candies guide goes through the collection options and explains why the full-pass total is a bigger commitment than the final tier alone.
What is Chroma Emberbow?
Chroma Emberbow is a rare colour-changing variant of the Ancient Gun. It appears as an alternative result associated with the final Battle Pass reward, rather than a different standard Candy shop item you can simply buy whenever you want. The exact chance of receiving it isn’t published as an official in-game percentage by Nikilis.
The MM2 Emberbow reward’s rare variant is not something you can count on simply because you pay the usual 100,000 Candies. If you’ve seen online odds or conflicting prices for the Chroma version, check what the event menu actually displays before assuming a separate purchase or a guaranteed conversion is available.
How is Emberbow used to craft Emberscythe?
After obtaining Emberbow, you’ll still need Embersickle, the Godly Knife from the 2026 Halloween Box. Find the Cauldron behind the seasonal NPC, beside the buildings on the left of the Retro Halloween lobby. The two Ember weapons are the listed ingredients for the Ancient Emberscythe Knife.
For MM2 Emberbow collectors, be careful before confirming that craft. Weapons submitted to a crafting recipe may be exchanged for its result, so read the exact confirmation screen if you want to keep the gun as part of a matching set. A low-chance Chroma Emberscythe outcome is also reported for the recipe, without a verified official probability.
When will Emberbow stop being obtainable?
The seasonal Halloween event runs until November 16, 2026 at 6 PM GMT. That is the window to work through the live Battle Pass and claim Emberbow from it. Once the event ends, trading with another player who owns the weapon is the likely alternative, subject to normal game trading rules.
Before spending that final stack of Candies, decide whether you want to keep your MM2 Emberbow as a gun or use it in an Emberscythe craft. You can open the game and see the current track at Nikilis’s official Murder Mystery 2 page.
