College Football 27 Nightmares Grave Tokens are used to buy Nightmares packs in College Ultimate Team, with prices ranging from one token for an 82+ OVR BND Tomb Pack to 24 tokens for a 92+ OVR Catacomb Pack. You can earn Grave Tokens through the Nightmares Field Pass and event rewards, while Nightmare Fuel can also be exchanged in the Store for packs or Grave Tokens.
The best use depends on whether you want a cheaper BND player for your own lineup or a non-BND pack that costs more tokens. EA’s set table gives exact prices for Tomb, Crypt, Mausoleum and Catacomb packs, so you can plan the spend before burning through the tokens you have already earned.
College Football 27 Nightmares Grave Tokens pack costs
| Nightmares pack | Minimum OVR | Grave Token cost |
|---|---|---|
| BND Tomb Pack | 82+ | 1 |
| Tomb Pack | 82+ | 2 |
| BND Crypt Pack | 85+ | 2 |
| Crypt Pack | 85+ | 4 |
| BND Mausoleum Pack | 89+ | 5 |
| Mausoleum Pack | 89+ | 10 |
| BND Catacomb Pack | 92+ | 12 |
| Catacomb Pack | 92+ | 24 |
Every non-BND pack in this list costs twice as many College Football 27 Nightmares Grave Tokens as its BND equivalent. If the player is going straight into your lineup, the BND option reaches the same minimum OVR tier for half the token cost.
How to get Grave Tokens in College Football 27 Nightmares
The free Nightmares Field Pass includes a Grave Token among its rewards. The Premium Pass gives three College Football 27 Nightmares Grave Tokens immediately and can award two more later, alongside additional Nightmare Fuel and BND Nightmares packs.
You can also earn a Grave Token from the Solo Perpetual Nightmare event by winning 10 games in a single run before reaching two losses. Nightmare Fuel earned through the Field Pass, Events and Challenges can be exchanged in the Store for packs or additional College Football 27 Nightmares Grave Tokens.
Nightmare Fuel and Grave Tokens are different currencies
Nightmare Fuel is the limited-time currency you earn across Nightmares activities. Grave Tokens are the set currency used for the pack exchanges above. EA allows Nightmare Fuel to be spent on packs or turned into Grave Tokens through the Nightmares Store.
EA has not published a fixed Nightmare Fuel-to-token exchange rate in the program announcement, so there is no official number to use for converting a specific Fuel balance into College Football 27 Nightmares Grave Tokens. The live Store shows the current cost of any Grave Token option.
Which Grave Token pack gives the best value?
If you only care about strengthening your own roster, the BND packs use tokens much more efficiently. One Grave Token gets you an 82+ Tomb Pack, two reach an 85+ Crypt Pack, five reach an 89+ Mausoleum Pack and 12 reach the 92+ Catacomb tier.
The non-BND versions cost double because the reward is not locked to your account in the same way. Save for those when having a non-BND item is useful to you; otherwise, the BND path stretches a limited pile of College Football 27 Nightmares Grave Tokens across more reward tiers.
How many Grave Tokens do you need for a 92+ player?
A 92+ OVR BND Nightmares Catacomb Pack costs 12 Grave Tokens. The non-BND 92+ Catacomb Pack costs 24. Those are the two most expensive Grave Token exchanges in EA’s launch set table.
If you are short of 12 tokens, the 89+ BND Mausoleum Pack at five is the next cheaper BND tier. There is no need to spend the tokens immediately, so you can keep building toward the Catacomb pack while the Nightmares program is active.
What is the Grave Token Crossover Pack?
The Madden crossover includes a separate objective for acquiring a Grave Token Crossover Pack. Doing that awards a Madden Ultimate Team Candy Bar Upgrade Item, and EA says the crossover objective can be completed up to six times.
That crossover pack should not be confused with the ordinary Tomb, Crypt, Mausoleum and Catacomb exchanges. It links College Football 27 Nightmares to Madden NFL 27 Most Feared, while the standard College Football 27 Nightmares Grave Tokens are mainly used for the CUT pack sets listed above.
Eternal Champion set and the Harrowing naming issue
The Eternal Champion set does not use Grave Tokens. EA says an Eternal player is made by combining the two versions of that Champion, and its set table currently lists 1x Abyssal Champ and 1x Hollow Champ.
When do College Football 27 Nightmares Grave Tokens expire?
EA says unspent Nightmare Fuel converts to Coins when the Nightmares program ends on November 6, 2026. The announcement does not separately state an automatic conversion rule for unspent Grave Tokens, so check the in-game Nightmares Store for any token-specific expiry shown there.
