College Football 27 Nightmares Field Pass has a free reward track with Nightmare Fuel, a Grave Token, a 91 OVR Champion Fantasy Pack and an exclusive 91 OVR Tano Letuli. If you buy the Premium Pass, you get an instant XP boost and can earn more currency and Nightmares packs.
You can work towards Letuli without buying Premium, while Events, Challenges and Sets help you build Field Pass XP. EA has published the reward totals for both tracks, so here’s what you can actually collect before Nightmares ends on November 6.
College Football 27 Nightmares Field Pass: Free rewards
The free College Football 27 Nightmares Field Pass has up to 250 Nightmare Fuel, multiple BND Reward Packs, one Grave Token and a Nightmare Champion Fantasy Pack containing your choice of a 91 OVR player. Completing the track awards the exclusive 91 OVR Tano Letuli MIKE linebacker card.
| Free item | Confirmed amount |
|---|---|
| Nightmare Fuel | Up to 250 |
| Nightmares BND Reward Packs | Multiple |
| Grave Token | 1 |
| Nightmare Champion Fantasy Pack | Choice of one 91 OVR player |
| Tano Letuli | Exclusive 91 OVR card for completing the Field Pass |
The Fantasy Pack and Letuli are different rewards. The former lets you select one eligible Champion; the latter is a specific completion player. EA hasn’t specified the precise level of every pack in its public announcement. Check the CUT reward menu to see when you’ll earn each one.
College Football 27 Nightmares Field Pass: Premium rewards
Buying the Premium College Football 27 Nightmares Field Pass grants 6,000 XP instantly, enough to take a new player from Level 1 to Level 4. It also immediately awards three Grave Tokens. The paid reward track includes another 500 Nightmare Fuel, two additional Grave Tokens and extra BND Nightmares Reward Packs.
| Premium item | Confirmed amount |
|---|---|
| Instant XP | 6,000 Field Pass XP |
| Instant Grave Tokens | 3 |
| Earnable Nightmare Fuel | 500 |
| Additional Grave Tokens | 2 |
| Nightmares BND Reward Packs | More packs throughout the premium path |
Both tracks together offer up to 750 Nightmare Fuel if you complete both reward paths. Check the price on the Premium offer in-game before buying it. Those tokens could help if you’re saving for a higher-rated player pack. Letuli still comes from the free track.
How to earn Nightmares Field Pass XP
EA says Nightmares Events, Challenges and Sets all make progress towards the College Football 27 Nightmares Field Pass. Open the Nightmares programme in CUT and check which activities have Field Pass objectives attached. You can earn Nightmare Fuel from some challenges and events outside the pass itself.
Playing Madden NFL 27 Most Feared is another option. Madden Most Feared Field Pass Levels 6, 11, 16 and 21 each have a crossover reward of 1,300 CUT Nightmares Field Pass XP. These are four specific milestones, rather than XP for every Madden match.
How to unlock 91 OVR Tano Letuli
Finish the free College Football 27 Nightmares Field Pass to unlock Tano Letuli, a San Diego State MIKE linebacker with 89 Speed, 87 Tackle, 80 Man Coverage, 90 Zone Coverage and 91 Pursuit. EA calls him an exclusive completion reward, so he doesn’t require the Premium Pass.
Letuli gives you a linebacker with particularly strong zone coverage and pursuit ratings. The Premium Pass supplies a 6,000 XP head start, but the Letuli card still comes from finishing the track. If you are also collecting Nightmare Fuel, decide whether to buy smaller packs now or save enough Grave Tokens for a higher-rated pack.
What can you buy with Nightmare Fuel and Grave Tokens?
Nightmare Fuel can be spent on event Store packs or converted into Grave Tokens. Tokens are used for Nightmares Sets, including a BND 82+ OVR Tomb Pack for one token, a BND 92+ OVR Catacomb Pack for 12, and a non-BND 92+ OVR Catacomb Pack for 24.
The College Football 27 Nightmares Field Pass helps you earn this currency, but it isn’t the only source. Challenges and events also supply Fuel. Some packs are marked BND, so check the offer before spending your tokens.
When does the Nightmares Field Pass end?
The College Football 27 Nightmares Field Pass runs with the programme through November 6, 2026. EA says unspent Nightmare Fuel converts into Coins when the programme ends. Check your remaining pass progress and Store options before that date if you’re trying to obtain a particular player pack.
The official announcement confirms the main reward totals, but not an exact item-by-item table for every pass level. Use the live Field Pass in College Ultimate Team to see the next tier and its reward rather than relying on an invented ladder.
Is the Premium Nightmares Field Pass worth buying?
You can unlock Letuli and the 91 OVR Champion Fantasy Pack without paying. The Premium College Football 27 Nightmares Field Pass offers faster initial progression, more currency and additional BND packs. Check how much progress you’ve already made and how many sessions you’ll have before November 6 before deciding to buy it.
