College Football 27 Nightmares Solo Challenges: Day and night times
EA’s official timetable uses Eastern Time. Murder on the Morrow runs from 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM ET and The Dead of Night runs from 6:30 PM to 6:30 AM ET the following morning. EA states that both College Football 27 Nightmares Solo Challenges boss groups can only be played during those windows. It hasn’t explained whether an attempt already in progress continues past a changeover, so plan to start with enough time left.

The UK changes to GMT on October 25, a week before the US changes its clocks. From October 25 to October 31 the two switches happen at 10:30 AM and 10:30 PM GMT; from November 1 they’re at 11:30 AM and 11:30 PM GMT again. Murder on the Morrow: How to start the day boss
Enter College Ultimate Team, open the Nightmares challenge section, and find Murder on the Morrow during its daytime window. These College Football 27 Nightmares Solo Challenges feature enormous, mutated Harrowing players with boosted abilities. EA describes the fights as some of the toughest in CUT. Check the current encounter’s objectives before choosing your lineup. If a boss is causing trouble, try a Squad rather than assuming an ordinary solo build will handle its boosted abilities.
If you keep losing, EA recommends teaming up in Squads. Work with teammates to cover assignments rather than guessing at an undocumented boss weakness. The announcement doesn’t give an exact winning playbook for every opponent, so a guaranteed formation would be misleading.
The Dead of Night: When Abyssal bosses appear
Open the same Nightmares section after 6:30 PM ET to face The Dead of Night. The Abyssal fights replace the Harrowing set until 6:30 AM ET. If the other College Football 27 Nightmares Solo Challenges option has vanished, check the time before restarting the game.
Ghouls Graveyard: Difficulty and bonus rewards
Ghouls Graveyard has its own sequence of challenges and doesn’t alternate between the day and night boss windows. Choose a difficulty, complete the main objectives, and attempt bonus tasks for additional rewards. EA says more Graveyard challenges will arrive as the event progresses towards Halloween.
The College Football 27 Nightmares Solo Challenges announcement doesn’t publish an item-by-item reward table for every Graveyard encounter. Use the reward panel on the difficulty you choose to see exactly what its bonus objectives offer. It is a separate activity from the two timed bosses.
Solo Perpetual Nightmare: How to earn a Grave Token
This is an event run against the CPU, not one of the timed College Football 27 Nightmares Solo Challenges boss groups. Beat the CPU to earn Nightmare Fuel after wins. Win 10 games in one run before suffering a second loss to reach the Grave Token reward. Your run doesn’t need to be a perfect 10–0, but the second loss ends the attempt before that prize.
Nightmare Fuel also comes from the Field Pass, events and other challenges. You can exchange it for packs or Grave Tokens, which are used in Nightmares sets. EA says any unspent Nightmare Fuel converts automatically into Coins when the programme finishes on November 6.
Why are my Nightmares Solo Challenges missing?
Check whether the current window belongs to Murder on the Morrow or The Dead of Night. The College Football 27 Nightmares Solo Challenges rotate daily at 6:30 AM and 6:30 PM ET. If the correct challenge is still absent, exit and reopen CUT and check that the game is updated. EA hasn’t announced permanent access to both boss groups outside their windows.
You can tackle Ghouls Graveyard or the Solo Perpetual Nightmare win run while waiting. Those activities aren’t presented as alternate names for the timed boss challenge, so don’t mistake their reward screens for the boss you’re trying to find.

Ghouls Graveyard has difficulty choices and bonus rewards, but the official announcement doesn’t identify a complete reward list for every stage or boss.
