College Football 27 Nightmares Program is live in College Ultimate Team with a free Welcome Pack, Nightmare Fuel, Grave Token sets, a dedicated Field Pass, day-and-night Player Item variants and crossover rewards with Madden NFL 27 Most Feared. The programme ends on November 6, when any unused Nightmare Fuel is converted into Coins.
The best place to start is the free Welcome Pack. Log into College Ultimate Team before November 6 at 1:30 p.m. ET to receive both 85 OVR players, Kevin Roche Jr. and Williams Nwaneri. You then choose one for the upgrade path to 91 OVR. That player can be upgraded to 91 OVR Champion by completing objectives with the card in your active lineup.

How to claim the free Nightmares Welcome Pack
Log into College Ultimate Team before November 6 at 1:30 p.m. ET to receive the free College Football 27 Nightmares Program Welcome Pack. It contains two 85 OVR choices: Georgia Tech TE Kevin Roche Jr. and Nebraska REDGE Williams Nwaneri.
Both 85 OVR cards are included in the Welcome Pack, but only the player you choose can follow the upgrade route. Put the selected card in your active lineup and complete its objectives to earn Skill Points. EA says the Welcome Pack player can be raised to a 91 OVR Champion without using an additional Evolution. Objective progress only counts while the selected player is in the active lineup.

Harrowing, Abyssal and Eternal Player Items explained
Champion and LTD cards in the College Football 27 Nightmares Program can appear in three forms. Harrowing cards are the daytime versions, Abyssal cards are the nighttime versions, and Eternal cards combine the two into a higher-end form with a different archetype.
EA splits the Store timing at 6:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. ET. Harrowing Player Items feature from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. ET. Abyssal Player Items take over from 6:30 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. the following morning.
The same player can play differently across those forms. EA uses Kam Chancellor as an example: his Abyssal LTD is a Box Specialist, Harrowing is a Coverage Specialist and Eternal is a Hybrid.
How Nightmare Fuel works
Nightmare Fuel is the limited-time currency for the College Football 27 Nightmares Program. You earn it through the Field Pass, events and challenges, then spend it on Packs or Grave Tokens in the Store.
Spend any remaining Fuel before the College Football 27 Nightmares Program closes. EA says unused Nightmare Fuel is automatically converted into Coins when Nightmares ends on November 6.
Grave Token pack costs
Grave Tokens are used for College Football 27 Nightmares Program sets, including Hero and Champion reward packs. The cheapest BND Tomb Pack costs one token, while the top Catacomb options require 12 or 24.

Nightmares Field Pass free rewards
The free College Football 27 Nightmares Program Field Pass can award up to 250 Nightmare Fuel, multiple BND Nightmares Reward Packs, one Grave Token, a 91 OVR Nightmare Champion Fantasy Pack and an exclusive 91 OVR Tano Letuli for completing the track.
The Premium Pass starts you with 6,000 Field Pass XP, enough to reach Level 4 from Level 1, plus three Grave Tokens. The premium track can also award 500 Nightmare Fuel, another two Grave Tokens and additional BND Nightmares packs.

Nightmares events and win-streak rewards
There are three named event routes in the College Football 27 Nightmares Program. Solo Perpetual Nightmare changes with each major release and pays Nightmare Fuel per win, with a Grave Token available for winning ten games in one run before reaching two losses.
Never Ending Nightmares and Most Feared Nightmares are H2H events on Hall of Fame difficulty. Never Ending Nightmares pays Fuel and packs, while Most Feared Nightmares links directly to Madden Ultimate Team crossover objectives and rewards consecutive wins.
Day and night Solo Challenges
The Solo side of the College Football 27 Nightmares Program changes with the clock. Murder on the Morrow runs during the Harrowing daytime window from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. ET. The Dead of Night runs from 6:30 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. ET for the Abyssal window.
EA describes these as some of the toughest CUT Solo Challenges and says the oversized boosted Nightmares may be easier to handle in Squads. Ghouls Graveyard also provides more familiar challenge sequences with selectable difficulty and bonus objectives.
College Football 27 and Madden NFL 27 crossover rewards
The College Football 27 Nightmares Program and Madden NFL 27 Most Feared feed rewards into each other. CUT objectives can award MUT Field Pass XP, Candy Bar upgrades and Most Feared packs, while Madden objectives return CUT XP, Tomb Packs, Nightmares players and Graven Tokens.
There is also a Marshawn Lynch crossover. Madden has a set requiring a Marshawn Lynch Crossover Token, and completing it awards a BND Marshawn Lynch Player Item for your College Football 27 Ultimate Team lineup.

Nightmares Twitch Drops October 16–18
EA is also running a Nightmares Open Directory from October 16–18. Watch time across the featured creator streams awards Campus Tokens at 15, 30, 60, 90 and 120 minutes, followed by a Campus Super Token at three hours.

When does College Football 27 Nightmares end?
The College Football 27 Nightmares Program runs through November 6, 2026. The free Welcome Pack also needs to be claimed by November 6 at 1:30 p.m. ET.
Spend your Nightmare Fuel before the programme closes because the remaining balance converts to Coins. Grave Token sets, timed events and the day/night content should also be treated as programme content rather than permanent Ultimate Team systems.
