What happens during update maintenance?
Pre-download closed ahead of the October 20 maintenance. HoYoverse’s advance download sizes were approximately 6 GB on PC, 5 GB on mobile, 14 GB on PS5 and 21 GB on Xbox Series X|S, depending on installed voice packs. To install the update now, restart HoYoPlay on PC, follow the in-game prompt on Android, update from the App Store on iOS, or use the game update option on PlayStation and Xbox.
When do Phoenix and Velina arrive?

Night of Supernatural Tricks and Spooky Funhouse Tales bring seasonal activities, while Enigma of the Labyrinth receives a Spooky Trial update. Additional activities include Cyber Miracle Healer, on Duty!, Trails of the Hobbling Crow and Repair! Drifting Art. New outfits and accessories also appear. Version 3.3 has two seven-day login campaigns: 10 Encrypted Master Tapes available after updating until December 1 at 03:59 server time, and 10 Boopons from November 11 until December 1. Each requires Inter-Knot Level 5, completion of the Prologue and the Event menu unlocked. Eligible players also receive 300 maintenance Polychromes, claimable until Version 3.3 ends on December 2 at 06:00 UTC+8, plus 300 issue-fix Polychromes. For the issue-fix grant, log in and claim by November 20 at 23:59 UTC+8. The mail itself expires after 30 days. The October 9 livestream code has already expired.
How to claim Version 3.3 compensation after maintenance
Once the game has updated, open your in-game mail and claim both compensation messages. HoYoverse’s eligibility cutoff was Inter-Knot Level 4 before October 21 at 06:00 UTC+8. If you missed that requirement, the compensation is not automatically awarded just for installing the patch later. The Zenless Zone Zero 3.3 release date also marks the start of a 42-day version ending December 2, so your reward claims and banner plans should follow those deadlines.
