Blue Protocol Star Resonance Matrix Manifestation is a new progression system in Season 4 that lets you generate Imprints and place their attributes into Factors. It begins with Mael, the Legacy Expert in Bahamar Highlands. He gives you access to the Mindscape Matrix, where you can obtain random Imprints. The higher the Matrix level, the more Imprints you receive and the better their potential quality.
There are three separate actions to understand: obtain an Imprint, embed it into a Factor, and transfer it to another compatible Factor later. Merely having an Imprint in your collection doesn’t mean it’s helping your character. If you’re confused by the new Psychoscope screens, follow the sequence below and check the slot restrictions before moving anything.
Where to unlock Blue Protocol Star Resonance Matrix Manifestation
Find Mael in Bahamar Highlands after installing the October 8, 2026 Lightchase Oath update. The developer’s patch notes identify his title as Legacy Expert. They don’t give a precise map pin or name a special prerequisite quest, so don’t follow directions to an unverified NPC. Look for Mael and interact with the Matrix Manifestation feature.
Season 4 also rebuilds the Oath Psychoscope, replacing its previous eight effects, node structure and Factor options. Older Season 3 menus won’t necessarily resemble the interface you see today. Blue Protocol Star Resonance Matrix Manifestation works with this revised progression system, rather than the previous Deep-Slumber Psychoscope.

How to get Imprints in Blue Protocol Star Resonance Matrix Manifestation
- Travel to Bahamar Highlands and speak to Mael, the Legacy Expert.
- Open Matrix Manifestation and use the Mindscape Matrix.
- Review the random Imprints from your Manifestation.
- Keep useful results in the Imprint Codex.
- Choose an eligible Factor and use Imprint Embedding to apply an Imprint.
The roll is random: a higher Mindscape Matrix level improves the number and potential quality of Imprints, but doesn’t guarantee the particular attribute you want. The official Blue Protocol Star Resonance Matrix Manifestation notes don’t give exact material costs, fixed drop percentages or a guaranteed roll sequence. Check the requirements displayed in Mael’s interface rather than farming resources based on an unsupported list.
Blue Protocol Star Resonance Matrix Manifestation: Imprint Codex and Embedding
Your Imprint Codex stores obtained Imprints. It’s where the results remain available for you to review. Imprint Embedding is the separate action that applies a stored Imprint’s attributes to a Factor in the new Oath Psychoscope.
Think about the Factor you actually use before embedding. Different class builds can favour different attributes, and Season 4’s Factors have been redesigned. A strong-looking Imprint isn’t automatically helpful if it’s going into a Factor that doesn’t support the setup you want. Check the eligible slots and attributes before confirming.
How to transfer Imprints with Blue Protocol Star Resonance Matrix Manifestation
Imprint Inheritance allows an already embedded Imprint to move to a different Factor, but the destination must be empty and have the matching slot type. This is the main restriction in the developer’s instructions. An occupied Factor slot or the wrong slot type isn’t a confirmed valid destination.
When changing a build, identify the Imprint you want to keep, then examine the new Factor for a matching empty slot. If the transfer option isn’t available, check those two conditions before assuming the game is broken. Blue Protocol Star Resonance Matrix Manifestation supports moving an existing bonus within those rules, not freely attaching every Imprint to any Factor.

Blue Protocol Star Resonance Matrix Manifestation: Matrix, Codex, Embedding and Inheritance
| Feature | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Mindscape Matrix | Generates random Imprints, with better quantity and quality at higher levels |
| Imprint Codex | Stores the Imprints you obtain |
| Imprint Embedding | Applies Imprint attributes to an eligible Factor |
| Imprint Inheritance | Transfers an embedded Imprint to an empty Factor of the matching slot type |
For example, you might collect several Imprints before choosing one that benefits your current build. Store them in the Codex, embed the selected one and continue playing. If you later change Factors, look at Inheritance rather than discarding a useful Imprint. This is how the four parts of Blue Protocol Star Resonance Matrix Manifestation fit together.
Can you use Season 3 Factors in Blue Protocol Star Resonance Matrix Manifestation?
No. The developers state that Season 3 Factors and the Deep-Slumber Psychoscope become unusable with the Season 4 reset. Use the Lightchase Oath version of the Psychoscope and new Factors. Season 3 seasonal points and other retired progression items also become unusable.
Season 4 additionally changes the conversion rates for Crit, Luck, Haste, Mastery, Versatility and Block. If your old character sheet shows different values, this may come from the seasonal reset rather than a Matrix error. Our Oath Strength guide covers the new combat stat separately.
Why Blue Protocol Star Resonance Matrix Manifestation might not be working
If you can’t access the system, verify you’re on Season 4 and visiting Mael. If you’ve generated Imprints but can’t see the bonus, check whether you’ve embedded one rather than simply storing it. For transfers, the destination must be an empty slot of a matching type. Those are the confirmed restrictions.
There’s no developer-confirmed shortcut that removes the inheritance requirements. Treat the Codex as your library of results and choose the right Factor before committing a new Imprint. Blue Protocol Star Resonance Matrix Manifestation gives you flexibility to improve or change a build, but it’s still worth checking the actual attributes and slots every time.
