Gran Turismo 7 Experience Mode is a new Brand Central challenge mode introduced in Gran Turismo 7 Spec IV Part 1, Update 1.72, on October 15, 2026. There are four confirmed launch manufacturers: Xiaomi, Yangwang, Hyundai and Polestar. Each brand offers driving challenges based around its identity, giving players something distinct from the track-focused Circuit Experience.

The October 14 update announcement confirms where the feature is found and the four eligible brands. It doesn’t publish an exhaustive challenge-by-challenge rewards list, so the useful starting point is getting to the correct menu and knowing which brands to check. This guide explains both while keeping unannounced times and prizes out of the facts.

How to open Gran Turismo 7 Experience Mode

Install Update 1.72, open Brand Central on the World Map, then enter one of the four supported manufacturers and select Experience. This is a new Brand Central feature. It isn’t the track-specific Circuit Experience, and looking for it in the World Circuits menu won’t take you to these manufacturer challenges.

Gran Turismo 7 Experience Mode: all four manufacturers

The launch list contains Xiaomi, Yangwang, Hyundai and Polestar. Those are all four brands Polyphony Digital names in its October 14 announcement. There is no published launch list of additional Experience manufacturers, so don’t assume that owning a car from a different brand makes its own Experience challenges available.

How to start a Gran Turismo 7 Experience Mode challenge

Open the brand page, enter Experience and select its driving challenge. The feature is built around the distinctive character of the manufacturer, with the aim of setting new records. Read the objective and any vehicle conditions on the challenge screen before starting the driving attempt. A brand being featured does not establish a specific number of laps or tasks.

Do you need to own cars for Gran Turismo 7 Experience Mode?

The published launch notes don’t state a universal vehicle-ownership rule for all four brands. Check whether each challenge provides a car, asks you to choose one or requires a particular model before spending Credits. The official description establishes manufacturer-based challenges, not a blanket requirement to own every associated car.

Gran Turismo 7 Experience Mode rewards and target times

Polyphony confirms that Experience involves setting records, but its announcement doesn’t enumerate individual time targets, medal thresholds, Credits or prize cars for Xiaomi, Yangwang, Hyundai or Polestar. The live challenge screen is where the precise objective and any reward should be checked; no reliable basis exists for publishing a completed reward table from the announcement alone.

Gran Turismo 7 Experience Mode versus Circuit Experience

Circuit Experience focuses on learning parts of a particular track and completing sector or lap targets. Experience is organised around the manufacturer inside Brand Central. These activities have different menus, so a player’s Circuit Experience record doesn’t automatically complete a new Xiaomi, Yangwang, Hyundai or Polestar challenge.

Gran Turismo 7 Experience Mode not showing: what to check

First confirm version 1.72 is installed. Next enter Brand Central rather than searching the track selection menu. Choose one of the four confirmed manufacturers. If you don’t see the feature under another brand, that alone isn’t evidence of a broken update: Polyphony has only listed Xiaomi, Yangwang, Hyundai and Polestar at launch.

Should you complete all four Experience manufacturers?

You can try each of the four launch experiences without confusing them with the three new Café Extra Menus. Experience challenges involve the featured brands; the Extra Menus are car collection objectives unlocked at specific Collector Levels. There is no published claim that completing every Experience challenge is needed to access Vintage, Car Concierge or the new SUGO circuit.
