Diablo 4 Fish List: Catch Types and Collection Tips

Diablo 4 Fish List

Diablo 4 Fish List contains 123 collectible fish in Season 15. That total is made from 16 fish for each of Sanctuary’s seven regions, five fish that can be caught throughout Sanctuary, five Mythic Unique fish tied to special waters and the Season 15 Red Herring from Khanduras. The full list is below, with the region and rarity beside every name.

The structure makes Diablo 4 Fish List easier to understand than a 123 row wall suggests. Each region has one Rare base species, six Legendary versions using one trait and nine Unique versions using two traits. Scosglen uses Drakonbeard, Fractured Peaks uses Morayaga, Dry Steppes uses Augur of Civo, Kehjistan uses Zakarati, Hawezar uses Crookfish, Nahantu uses Neme-Senga and Skovos uses Kokalodon.

Diablo 4 Fish List: all 123 fish

The table is the complete current Diablo 4 Fish List. The first five entries can appear throughout Sanctuary. Regional entries must be caught in the listed region, while the five Mythic fish use special water conditions rather than the normal seven region species structure.

Diablo 4 Fish List regional family structure

Every regional family in Diablo 4 Fish List begins with the Rare base fish. The six Legendary versions add one of these traits: Tiny, Giant, Glittering, Demonic, Celestial or Spectral. The nine Unique versions combine Tiny, Giant or Glittering with Demonic, Celestial or Spectral. That pattern produces 16 entries per region and 112 regional fish across seven regions.

Diablo 4 Fish List Sanctuary wide fish

Five entries in Diablo 4 Fish List are not tied to one region: Saltfin, Bluescale and Glimmer are Common, while Silverbelly and Darkling are Magic. These are useful early collection targets because they can appear throughout Sanctuary. Silverbelly and Darkling are also requested during the fishing follow up quest Favor for a Favor.

Diablo 4 Fish List Mythic fish

The Mythic section of Diablo 4 Fish List has special conditions: Molten Martyr comes from pools of lava, Ghoulworm from pools of blood, Fang of Tathamet from Helltides, Dune Thresher Hatchling from sandy dunes and Vivid Whimsy is listed as somewhere in Sanctuary. Collecting all five completes the No Fish is Safe achievement and awards the Crusty and Seadog titles.

Diablo 4 Fish List Red Herring and Season 15 total

Season 15 added the Red Herring from Khanduras, which is why Diablo 4 Fish List reaches 123 entries rather than stopping at the older regular collection. It is separate from the 117 regular fish used for the Tenacious Angler requirement. If you are checking an older list with a different total, confirm that it has been updated for Season 15 before assuming your collection is bugged.

Diablo 4 Fish List collection achievements

The regular collection side of Diablo 4 Fish List uses 117 fish for Tenacious Angler, rewarding the Briny and Angler titles plus the Ocean’s Largesse mount trophy. The five Mythic fish belong to No Fish is Safe instead, and Red Herring does not count toward the 117 regular requirement. That split explains why owning a Mythic catch does not fill a missing regional entry.

When finishing Diablo 4 Fish List, work region by region and compare the name pattern rather than fishing randomly everywhere. If Scosglen is missing one entry, for example, you only need to compare the 16 Drakonbeard names. That is much faster than checking the entire collection after every catch and makes it obvious whether the missing fish is Rare, Legendary or one of the nine Unique trait combinations.

Fastest way to audit a nearly complete collection

When Diablo 4 Fish List is almost complete, stop reading the 123 entries from top to bottom and audit by family. Check the five Sanctuary wide fish first, then each 16 fish regional block. Within a regional block, verify the Rare base name, the six single trait Legendary names and the nine double trait Unique names. Only after those 117 regular entries are complete should you treat the five Mythics and Red Herring as separate collection goals.

That method also makes duplicate catches less frustrating in Diablo 4 Fish List. If the only missing Hawezar entry is Glittering Spectral Crookfish, you can ignore every Drakonbeard, Morayaga and Kokalodon result because they belong to different regions. Keep fishing Hawezar water and compare only the Crookfish family. The same pattern works in every region, turning a 123 item collection into seven smaller checklists plus the special fish.

Diablo 4 Fish List has 123 current entries in Season 15: 112 regional fish, five Sanctuary wide fish, five Mythic fish and Red Herring. Use the region families and trait pattern to identify missing catches, then treat the Mythic collection and Red Herring as separate targets from the 117 fish Tenacious Angler requirement.
