Wuthering Waves Remnant of the Wheel: How to Get the Boss Material

Wuthering Waves Remnant of the Wheel

Wuthering Waves Remnant of the Wheel is the Version 3.7 weekly boss material dropped by Suhsin the Inevitable. Hsin needs 26 copies for a fully developed Forte tree, and Suoming uses the same material later in the patch. That shared weekly source makes Remnant of the Wheel one of the few 3.7 resources that cannot be brute-forced in one long farming session.

The important thing about Wuthering Waves Remnant of the Wheel is the account-wide weekly boss claim limit. Extra Waveplates can help with Strings, Kernels and Shell Credits, but they do not create unlimited weekly reward claims. Unlocking Suhsin early and using the correct resets is therefore more valuable than leaving the boss until every repeatable material is finished.

How to get Wuthering Waves Remnant of the Wheel

Defeat Suhsin the Inevitable and spend an eligible weekly boss reward claim. The encounter is tied to Version 3.7 main-story progression through Simulacrum of the Heart, so accounts that have not progressed the new chapter may not have the repeatable challenge registered. Use our Suhsin Location guide if the boss is still missing.

After the story encounter is registered, return through the Guidebook’s weekly boss or Boss Challenge section. That is the practical farming route. You do not need to retrace the main-story path through the Simulacrum Nexus every time the weekly reset arrives.

How many Wuthering Waves Remnant of the Wheel does Hsin need?

Hsin needs 26 Wuthering Waves Remnant of the Wheel for all Forte upgrades. Her character ascension does not use the weekly material, so you can raise her to level 90 with Solidarity’s Loneflame, Bloom of Hearkening and Autopuppet Kernels while Remnant accumulates over several resets. The full split is in our Hsin Materials guide.

That separation matters because players sometimes hold a character at a low level when only a skill material is time-gated. Finish Hsin’s repeatable ascension farm, equip a usable build and buy the highest-value Forte nodes as Wuthering Waves Remnant of the Wheel arrive rather than waiting for all 26 before using the character.

Why Wuthering Waves Remnant of the Wheel is the real bottleneck

Bloom of Hearkening is new, but local specialties refresh and can be collected without spending Waveplates. Strings and Kernels are repeatable. Wuthering Waves Remnant of the Wheel is different because the number of reward claims is capped by the weekly system. A missed reset cannot be recovered simply by playing for twice as many hours later.

That is why Suhsin should be unlocked before you spend days perfecting Echo substats. The Suhsin Boss Guide handles repeat clears, while Heart of Sworn Vigil, Forgery materials and ordinary enemy drops remain available whenever stamina and exploration time allow.

Suoming also uses Wuthering Waves Remnant of the Wheel

Suoming arrives in Phase 2 and also uses Wuthering Waves Remnant of the Wheel. If you intend to build both new Electro Resonators, one weekly source is feeding two Forte trees. You do not need to max every low-priority node on both characters instantly, but you should start collecting the shared material during Phase 1 instead of waiting until the second banner.

A sensible plan is to decide which character receives the first deep investment, then reserve enough weekly material for the second character’s highest-impact nodes. This prevents a completionist urge to max low-value Basic Attack levels on one character from delaying the core kit of the other.

What else you get while farming Wuthering Waves Remnant of the Wheel

Suhsin is also associated with Reminiscence: Suhsin the Inevitable, the new Cost 4 Echo used by Heart of Sworn Vigil and Flash of Electric Reflection. Hsin specifically wants a strong Heart of Sworn Vigil version, so farming Wuthering Waves Remnant of the Wheel also gives repeated chances at the main Echo used in her finished build.

That overlap makes the boss unusually efficient for Hsin players. You are not visiting only for Wuthering Waves Remnant of the Wheel; you are also checking main stats, Sonata Effects and Echo quality. Keep usable pieces while the build is developing rather than discarding everything that is not immediately perfect.

Best weekly plan for Wuthering Waves Remnant of the Wheel

  • Unlock Suhsin during the first available story window.
  • Check remaining weekly claims before entering.
  • Prioritize Suhsin when Hsin or Suoming is the current build target.
  • Farm repeatable Strings, Kernels and credits after the weekly claim is secured.
  • Inspect the Cost 4 Echo before discarding it.

Wuthering Waves Remnant of the Wheel is therefore a scheduling problem more than a route problem. The boss source is straightforward once unlocked, but the weekly cap rewards players who begin early. Claim consistently, finish Hsin’s repeatable materials in parallel and the one resource that extra playtime cannot instantly accelerate stops becoming a surprise.
