How to Get Free Banshee in Warframe is unusually simple for the Iceblade of Narin update: log in between September 23 and October 7, 2026. Digital Extremes is giving every eligible player a free base Banshee Warframe plus a built Forma as a login reward.
The giveaway is designed to let everyone try Banshee’s reworked kit without needing to farm her normal components first. If you are checking How to Get Free Banshee in Warframe because you have never owned her before, there is no Mastery Rank requirement attached to the promotion and no special quest chain to complete for the free copy.

| Reward | How to get it | Dates |
|---|---|---|
| Base Banshee Warframe | Log in to Warframe | September 23 to October 7, 2026 |
| Built Forma | Included with the login reward | September 23 to October 7, 2026 |
The key point for How to Get Free Banshee in Warframe is the window. Digital Extremes says you can log in at any time from September 23 through October 7 and receive the free base Banshee and built Forma.
The official Banshee login reward announcement confirms that the free Warframe is available regardless of Mastery Rank or experience level.
Do you need to complete Iceblade of Narin first?
No. How to Get Free Banshee in Warframe does not require you to finish the Iceblade of Narin story content before the login reward arrives. The free Banshee is tied to logging in during the promotion window rather than clearing the new update.
That makes it useful for both new players and long-time accounts. You can claim the reward first and then decide whether to take the reworked Banshee into the new content.
Is it Banshee Prime or base Banshee?
The free reward is the standard base Banshee, not Banshee Prime. That distinction matters when looking up How to Get Free Banshee in Warframe, because the giveaway does not replace Prime Access, Prime Resurgence or any separate Prime farming route.
The base version is still the one receiving the updated ability treatment with Iceblade of Narin, so the giveaway is specifically meant to let players test the revised kit.
Do you get a Warframe slot too?
Digital Extremes explicitly confirms the free Banshee and built Forma when explaining How to Get Free Banshee in Warframe, but the announcement does not separately promise an extra Warframe slot in the public wording. Check the actual Inbox reward once the update is live before assuming a slot is included.
If your collection is already full, do not delete another Warframe pre-emptively based on an assumption. The live reward screen will show exactly what has been delivered to your account.
What is the built Forma for?
The built Forma included with How to Get Free Banshee in Warframe is there so you can adjust Banshee’s mod polarity setup while experimenting with the rework. Because it is already built, you do not need to wait through a Foundry build timer before using it.
You are not forced to spend the Forma on Banshee. Once it is on your account, it is simply a normal built Forma that can be used where appropriate.
What changed with Banshee?
The timing of How to Get Free Banshee in Warframe is tied directly to the Banshee rework in Iceblade of Narin. Digital Extremes says the update improves synergies across her abilities, increases survivability and adds broader quality of life changes.
The official Iceblade of Narin page describes the rework as making Banshee more user-friendly while keeping her sound-based damage identity intact.
Can new players claim free Banshee?
Yes. The promotion specifically says the reward is available regardless of Mastery Rank or experience level, so How to Get Free Banshee in Warframe applies to brand-new accounts as long as they can log in during the valid dates.
That makes the giveaway especially valuable if you have not progressed far enough to farm Banshee normally. You can add her to your account immediately and learn the reworked abilities without spending time on component farming first.
What if you already own Banshee?
You can still log in during the event and receive the promotional reward. If you already own Banshee, How to Get Free Banshee in Warframe is still useful because the giveaway includes a built Forma and gives you another base Banshee copy.
What you do with a duplicate is up to you, but do not assume the promotion changes into a different reward for existing owners. Digital Extremes advertises the same Banshee and Forma package for everyone.
When does the free Banshee offer end?
The deadline for How to Get Free Banshee in Warframe is October 7. Once that login window closes, the promotion is over unless Digital Extremes announces an extension.
There is no reason to leave the claim until the last day. Log in after the September 23 update arrives, check your Inbox and make sure both the free Banshee and built Forma have been delivered.
