Beast’s Hunting Ground is the new Workshop of Brilliant Light dungeon added to Solo Leveling: ARISE in the September 17 update, putting Adan, the Monarch of Fangs, at the centre of the latest endgame season. It is more than a single boss encounter because clearing its opening stage also connects directly to the new Adan Remnant Power, while the limited Monarch of Fangs Smash Event uses the same dungeon as its home.

The important thing with Beast’s Hunting Ground is knowing which parts are permanent progression and which parts are tied to the three week season. The normal Workshop run is where you progress through the dungeon and unlock Adan’s new Succession power, while the separate WANTED challenge offers its own difficulty schedule and cosmetic rewards without using Workshop invitations.

Beast’s Hunting Ground appears as the new Workshop of Brilliant Light dungeon for the season beginning on September 17. Netmarble has confirmed that the season runs for three weeks and that Adan, the Monarch of Fangs, is the featured challenge. Bosses that appear in the dungeon are also added to the Special Commission list, giving the new season a direct connection to another progression system.

For most players, the first priority in Beast’s Hunting Ground should be clearing Stage 1. That first clear is the confirmed unlock condition for the new Adan Remnant Power. You do not need to complete the entire seasonal dungeon before the power becomes available, so reaching that opening milestone gives an immediate account progression benefit even if the later stages take more preparation.

Why Stage 1 of Beast’s Hunting Ground matters

Clearing Stage 1 of Beast’s Hunting Ground automatically unlocks Adan Remnant Power. After it is unlocked, the new power can be found through Quick Menu, then Succession, then Remnant Power. This is the same automatic unlock pattern used for previous Remnant Powers, so there is no separate quest, draw, shop purchase or event claim attached to the unlock itself.

That makes Beast’s Hunting Ground worth entering even if your first goal is not a full seasonal clear. The Stage 1 milestone gives you access to another progression system immediately, and the Remnant Power can then be checked and upgraded from the Succession menu. The update notice does not require a particular Smash Event clear for this unlock, so the normal Workshop Stage 1 condition is the key requirement.

The special WANTED challenge is accessed through Beast’s Hunting Ground, but it is handled separately from the normal Workshop run. It does not consume Workshop of Brilliant Light Invitations, and it cannot be played at the same time as another stage. This is useful because you can attempt the event without spending the invitations you would normally save for Workshop progression.

The Smash Event attached to Beast’s Hunting Ground runs in three weekly steps. Week 1 lasts from the end of September 17 maintenance until September 24 at 00:00 UTC, Week 2 runs until October 1 at 00:00 UTC, and Week 3 runs until October 8 at 00:00 UTC. The difficulty drops each week, but the available reward tier also becomes smaller, so the earlier clears carry the largest cosmetic bundle.

What you can earn from Beast’s Hunting Ground

The limited challenge rewards linked to Beast’s Hunting Ground include a Profile Background, Profile Icon, Profile Frame and Beastmaster cosmetic chests, with the exact package depending on the week in which you clear the event. Week 1 includes two Beastmaster Chroma Chests, Week 2 includes one, and Week 3 focuses on the background, icon and Beastmaster Cosmetic Chest.

There is also a separate Smash Complete reward package connected to the event. It contains 30 Marks of Time I, 30 Marks of Time II, 20 Custom Draw Tickets, 1,000,000 Gold and 1,000 Mana-imbued Fabric. Event rewards can only be claimed once per account, so clearing a later weekly version after already earning the reward does not grant a duplicate copy.

What to do first in Beast’s Hunting Ground

A sensible order is to enter Beast’s Hunting Ground and secure the Stage 1 clear first, then check that Adan Remnant Power has appeared in Succession. After that, you can decide how hard you want to push the normal seasonal dungeon and the separate Smash Event. Because the event does not use invitations, there is no need to choose between spending a Workshop entry and attempting the limited challenge.

If you are working through the September progression additions at the same time, Beast’s Hunting Ground sits alongside Expert Chapters 26-29 and Battlefield of Trials Floors 91-100. The broader update also raises several account progression caps, so players returning for Adan have multiple places to spend upgraded power once the first Workshop milestone is done. Full live changes are listed in Netmarble’s official September 17 update notice.
