How to Get Jeff Shark in Sheep’s Clothing Skin in Marvel Rivals starts with the premium version of Jeff’s Dream Eater, where the event’s star gets one of its two headline paid costumes. The sheep-themed Jeff look is not on the same free path as Venom’s President Ozzy, so players specifically chasing it need premium access.
Buying the premium upgrade is only the start, because How to Get Jeff Shark in Sheep’s Clothing Skin in Marvel Rivals still involves playing matches and progressing the event. Jeff’s Dream Eater awards XP through match play and uses event progression to feed its reward system, meaning premium unlocks the paid path but does not turn the skin into a normal instant shop purchase.
How to Get Jeff Shark in Sheep’s Clothing Skin in Marvel Rivals from the premium track
Enter Jeff’s Dream Eater from the Events menu after the September 17 update and activate the premium version. Current event information shows the premium edition at 690 Lattice. Play matches to earn event XP, gain event levels and use the Dreamcatcher attempts attached to progression until Jeff’s costume is claimed.
Dreamcatcher attempts are part of the event’s themed reward flow. Current information indicates attempts are consumed when a reward is successfully caught, so the practical loop is to play enough matches to level, return to the event interface and keep using the attempts you have earned.
How to Get Jeff Shark in Sheep’s Clothing Skin in Marvel Rivals: Is Shark in Sheep’s Clothing a free Jeff skin?
No. NetEase identifies Shark in Sheep’s Clothing as premium content. The free headline costume is President Ozzy for Venom. How to Get Jeff Shark in Sheep’s Clothing Skin in Marvel Rivals therefore cannot be completed solely on the free track, even though everyone can enter the event and make progress.
Rogue’s Slumber Sugah is also part of premium. If you are considering the upgrade, both costumes are worth looking at together because the purchase opens the broader premium reward path rather than charging separately for each skin.
How long is the Jeff skin available?
Jeff’s Dream Eater runs from September 17 at 09:00 UTC through October 15 at 09:00 UTC. That is the important deadline for How to Get Jeff Shark in Sheep’s Clothing Skin in Marvel Rivals. Start early enough to leave room for the XP grind instead of assuming you can purchase premium on the final morning and immediately receive everything.
If the event does not appear after the scheduled start, update Marvel Rivals and reopen the Events screen. The September 17 patch has no planned server downtime, so a missing event after launch is more likely to be a version or rollout issue than scheduled maintenance.
What else is in Jeff’s Dream Eater premium?
The other named premium costume is Rogue’s Slumber Sugah. NetEase also says there are more premium rewards beyond the two highlighted skins, although the official text announcement does not provide a complete item-by-item list. How to Get Jeff Shark in Sheep’s Clothing Skin in Marvel Rivals is best approached through the live track so you can see every reward before spending.
Is this the same Jeff event as Superstar Search?
No. Jeff is at the centre of both September 17 events, which makes the names easy to muddle. Shark in Sheep’s Clothing belongs to the premium Dream Eater track. Superstar Search is the separate Star-collecting event in Times Square and Hellfire Bay Beach, where the confirmed rewards are a Spray, Title and Nameplate. If you are specifically chasing the Jeff costume, make sure you are spending time in Dream Eater rather than expecting the social-map hunt to unlock it.
That separation is also useful when planning your daily play. You can collect a Superstar Search Star, then switch back to normal matches for Dream Eater XP. Progress in one event should not be treated as progress in the other simply because both use Jeff’s nightmare storyline. How to Get Jeff Shark in Sheep’s Clothing Skin in Marvel Rivals stays tied specifically to Dream Eater premium progression.
The premium costume split and event dates are confirmed in the official Marvel Rivals patch notes. The main Marvel Rivals site carries any follow-up notices that NetEase publishes during the event. How to Get Jeff Shark in Sheep’s Clothing Skin in Marvel Rivals stays tied to the same event rules and deadline throughout this run.
