Black Ops 7 Forbidden Summoning Event is now fully solved in Season 6, taking Endgame players through three Summoning Seals before a Greylorm boss fight at Trinity Stadium. The most important thing to know before starting is that every seal needs Exotic weapon kills, so turning up without an Exotic can stop your progress cold.

Black Ops 7 Forbidden Summoning Event: How to Start

The Black Ops 7 Forbidden Summoning Event appears as a World Event on the night version of Avalon. Watch the HUD and Tac Map for the Summoning Seal alert. When it activates, three seal objectives appear around the map.

Live runs place them around Hightown, the Excavation Site and the eastern side of Low Town. Other squads can contribute to the event, so you do not always need to clear all three yourself.

Before travelling to a seal, equip an Exotic weapon and stock up on ammunition. You can handle the escort with any weapon, but the ritual that follows only advances through Exotic eliminations.

How to Break the Three Summoning Seals

Each Black Ops 7 Forbidden Summoning Event seal uses the same sequence. Interact with the Ritual Orb and stay close while it travels to its destination. Enemies attack during the escort, so clear the path without moving too far from the orb.

When the orb arrives, the Summoning Seal becomes active. Stay near the objective and get 100 eliminations with an Exotic weapon. Kills with normal weapons do not count toward the seal.

Break the seal, then repeat the process at the remaining locations. If nobody else contributes, that means three escorts and 300 Exotic weapon eliminations before the boss phase.

Why the Summoning Seal Is Not Progressing

If your Black Ops 7 Forbidden Summoning Event objective looks stuck, check the weapon in your hands first. A high rarity standard weapon is not enough. The ritual needs Exotic weapon kills.

Stay close to the active seal as well. Chasing enemies too far away can waste time when the goal is to keep eliminations happening around the ritual. Restock before leaving each area because the seals are followed immediately by Greylorm.

Where to Find Greylorm

Breaking the third seal moves the Black Ops 7 Forbidden Summoning Event to Trinity Stadium. Greylorm, a large Aether Worm, appears there for the final encounter.

Focus fire on the glowing weak points whenever they are exposed. Greylorm can launch damaging orbs, sweep the arena with a laser, bite players who remain too close and burrow before resurfacing beneath a target.

Destroy approaching orbs, move out of the laser path and create distance when the boss disappears underground. If Greylorm launches you into the air, use the wingsuit rather than dropping directly back into danger. A Munitions Box on the east side of the Stadium can help during longer attempts.

Black Ops 7 Forbidden Summoning Event Rewards

Completing the Black Ops 7 Forbidden Summoning Event rewards an Exotic Skill and the Heatsync AAROW 19 Exotic weapon. Heatsync is the headline reward because it also works as a mobility tool. Firing it at the ground can launch your Operator into the air.

Make sure the completion registers and collect the reward before leaving. The Heatsync is tied to the Endgame World Event rather than the Battle Pass or a normal menu challenge.

Can You Complete Forbidden Summoning Solo?

The Black Ops 7 Forbidden Summoning Event can be attempted without a premade squad, but the structure strongly favours having other players around. Doing every seal yourself means 300 Exotic eliminations plus three escorts before you even reach Greylorm.

Activision’s Season 6 description specifically recommends bringing backup. In a populated Endgame session, other squads can work on separate seals and then converge on Trinity Stadium, which cuts a lot of the setup time.

What to Bring Before You Start

For a smoother Black Ops 7 Forbidden Summoning Event run, bring an Exotic weapon, plenty of ammunition, armor and something that can clear groups quickly. Do not burn every resource on the first seal because there are two more rituals and a boss fight ahead.
