Black Ops 7 TR51 Para: How to unlock it

Black Ops 7 TR51 Para Assault Rifle is earned through Battle Pass Page 6 completion reward. That is the confirmed route from Activision, so there is no need to buy a store bundle to access the base weapon.

Black Ops 7 TR51 Para is also available from the opening Season 6 Battle Pass. Its Page 6 position means it takes longer to reach than the VMP, but it does not depend on an in-season event.

What the weapon is actually built for

Black Ops 7 TR51 Para is built around very high damage, low recoil and strong bullet velocity. Its default semi-auto setup suits accurate medium and long-range fire, but Season 6 also gives it multiple routes into full-auto play, making it more flexible than a normal marksman-style rifle.

Prestige unlocks and camos

Its Weapon Prestige camos are Rawhide, Cherished and Jungle Party. The confirmed 18.5-inch MFS Fallen Angel Barrel changes the rifle to a slower-firing full-auto setup with stronger stopping power and much higher bullet velocity, while sacrificing some control.

Black Ops 7 TR51 Para: What to do on day one

The sensible first step with TR51 Para Assault Rifle is to unlock the base weapon and level it before chasing a “best build.” Live recoil values, damage breakpoints and attachment trade-offs matter more than pre-season guesswork. Once Season 6 is playable, the useful build advice is the setup that survives actual matches rather than the one that looked good on a roadmap.

TR51 Para Battle Pass blueprint

The base rifle is the Page 6 completion reward. A separate Smoke Point blueprint appears as a Page 12 HVT reward, giving players a later cosmetic target after the functional weapon is already unlocked.

The 41-level progression is longer than the VMP’s 35 levels, and the attachment list is just as broad. That matters because the TR51 Para can be pushed in very different directions: controlled semi-auto fire, a faster full-auto conversion or the slower but harder-hitting Fallen Angel Barrel setup.

The two full-auto ideas are not the same

Activision says the rifle can be configured to full auto and separately names the 18.5-inch MFS Fallen Angel Barrel as a slow-firing full-auto conversion. That makes it important not to treat “full auto TR51 Para” as one single build before the full attachment tree is visible.

The default rifle already has very high damage, high bullet velocity and low recoil. If you prefer deliberate ranged shots, there is no reason to assume the conversion is automatically better. The live stats will show whether the extra fire mode is worth its handling and control trade-offs.

TR51 Para stats and the important full-auto option

Black Ops 7 TR51 Para has 41 weapon levels, a 25-round base magazine and three magazines in reserve. It launches as a semi-auto Assault Rifle built around high damage, high bullet velocity and controllability at range. Its attachment categories include Optic, Muzzle, Barrel, Underbarrel, Magazine, Rear Grip, Stock, Laser and Fire Mods.

The big wrinkle is that semi-auto is not its only configuration. The 18.5-inch MFS Fallen Angel Barrel is its Prestige attachment and converts the rifle to a slower-firing full-auto setup. Activision says that version gains major bullet velocity and stopping power but loses some controllability. That makes it worth treating the semi-auto and full-auto versions as two different build problems once live stats are available.

TR51 Para progression, blueprint and camos

The base gun is free from Battle Pass Page 6. A Smoke Point blueprint appears later on Page 12, but the blueprint is not required to use or level the weapon. Underbarrel launchers and FMJ ammo are also part of the announced Gunsmith options, so there is more flexibility here than simply turning it into a full-auto rifle.

Weapon Prestige adds three universal camos: Rawhide at Prestige 1, Cherished at Prestige 2 and Jungle Party at Prestige Max. Because the weapon has 41 levels, it has a longer normal levelling path than the VMP. If you are unlocking both on day one, starting the TR51 Para early avoids leaving the longer grind until later in the season.
