Season 6 starts on September 17 at 9:00 a.m. PT, and the VMP is a launch-day Battle Pass weapon. Page 3 progression can begin as soon as the Season 6 pass is active.

That, plus the 40-round magazine, points toward an aggressive weapon that can keep moving between fights without constantly being caught in a long reload. It is also intended to work both while aiming and from the hip, so the final build does not have to be locked into one style.
