Hajin Warzone map is coming to Battle Royale when Modern Warfare 4 integrates with Call of Duty: Warzone in Season 1 on November 6, 2026. Hajin is already familiar to DMZ players, but the Warzone version belongs to a different mode with its own matches and loot.

Activision also confirms Zodiac as a new Resurgence map, with Verdansk and Rebirth Island returning in the seasonal lineup. A dedicated Warzone roadmap is scheduled for November 2, ahead of the full update at 5 AM GMT on November 6.

The Hajin Warzone map is part of the Warzone integration scheduled for Friday, November 6 at 5 AM GMT. Activision has not presented it as an October 23 premium-game launch playlist. Its Battle Royale introduction is tied to the seasonal update.

Hajin and Zodiac serve different announced Warzone experiences. Hajin joins Battle Royale, while Zodiac is intended for Resurgence. The separate November 2 roadmap will give further Warzone-specific details before the season begins.

What is Hajin and where is it?

Hajin is the fictional Korean Exclusion Zone used in the Modern Warfare 4 DMZ storyline. Its established setting includes a city, prison facilities, military areas and a dangerous fallout region. Those areas give players a sense of the environment before the Warzone version arrives.

The full Hajin Warzone map will bring the setting into Battle Royale, but DMZ mission routes and exfil requirements shouldn’t be mistaken for confirmed Battle Royale circles or drop locations. The Hajin DMZ guide explains the older mode’s separate objectives.

Hajin versus the Zodiac Warzone map

Hajin is the large Battle Royale addition announced for Season 1. Zodiac is the distinct Resurgence destination. Activision also says players will still have access to Verdansk and Rebirth Island.

Backstab, Canyon and Shoot House are Season 1 Multiplayer maps. They aren’t alternative names for the Hajin Warzone map or Zodiac Resurgence, which belong to Warzone’s separate playlists.

Can you play Hajin before Season 1?

The Hajin setting can be explored in Modern Warfare 4 DMZ before the Warzone update, but the Battle Royale version isn’t listed as a pre-season Warzone playlist. The two game modes have different objectives and progression systems.

DMZ uses Active Duty Operators, Orders, loot extraction and a persistent Forward Operating Base. Warzone Battle Royale focuses on survival against opposing squads. Knowing the geography from DMZ can help you recognise the setting, but it doesn’t establish Warzone’s spawn, drop or loot rules.

What about Warzone Season 1 integration?

Season 1 brings Modern Warfare 4 weapons and progression into Warzone. Activision has separately outlined rules for legacy weapons and Operator appearances. Weapons from Modern Warfare II, Modern Warfare III, Black Ops 6 and Black Ops 7 are placed in a legacy system, while eligible blueprints retain their configured attachments.

This is related to the Hajin Warzone map because players preparing for November 6 may want to know which weapons they can select. See our carry-forward guide for the separate weapon and Operator rules rather than treating map details as loadout instructions.

What is confirmed before the Warzone roadmap?

The Hajin Warzone map itself, its Battle Royale role, Zodiac’s Resurgence role and the return of Verdansk and Rebirth Island are all confirmed. Activision is releasing a dedicated Warzone Season 1 briefing on November 2.

The November 2 Warzone briefing is expected to explain playlist rules, map mechanics and more specific points of interest. Those details will help players plan where to land and how the maps rotate.

If you’ve already played DMZ, use that experience to recognise the Hajin setting and broader environment. Keep your Battle Royale expectations separate: DMZ extraction paths, hazards and enemy locations do not establish the exact Warzone experience.

New Season 1 weapons include the free Cronen Osprey at Battle Pass Tier 16 and CSG-35 at Tier 36. Those are weapons to investigate when integration begins, but official live Warzone weapon handling will determine their usefulness on each map.

The Hajin Warzone map joins Battle Royale with the November 6 season update. Until then, DMZ is where you can explore the setting and become familiar with the major areas.
