After airing a 20-minute Nintendo Direct dedicated to the new Xenoblade Chronicles 3, Nintendo might still release another edition, this time containing news for many of their upcoming titles.

This would mirror their previous big Direct from February, where many other games received updates and announcements, such as the upcoming Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes, Kirby and The Forgotten Land and Xenoblade Chronicles 3 itself, which now received a dedicated Direct.

The information comes from nowhere else than from a 4chan post. While those are usually more suspicious than your average leak, the same user has correctly predicted the Xenoblade Nintendo Direct, which gives him some credibility.

The post affirms that Xenoblade Chronicles won’t be receiving updates in a Direct happening next week since it will have its own spotlight soon. The post was made a few hours before Nintendo actually revealed the Direct, which just happened to have exactly 20 minutes.

What to expect from the new Nintendo Direct?

With many upcoming titles for this year and the next one, it gets hard to actually pinpoint what could be announced. But we can make some guesses for this somewhat suspicious Direct.

The perfect candidate for a spotlight is the upcoming Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. In the last trailer, we had a glance at the new region and got to meet the two new regional professors and some of the new, adorable Pokémon. Is it time to see more?

A sequel to Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is also in the making, and while it was confirmed that it wouldn’t be arriving before 2023, it wouldn’t hurt to give a small update on the game, as it’s one of the most awaited titles for the Switch.

We didn’t receive any update on Bayonetta 3 either, except that it was confirmed to be released this year. Half of it is already gone, so the game should be close to release. There’s also the long-announced Nintendo Switch port for Genshin Impact, still with no release date.

But don’t get all of your hopes up, as this is still just a rumor from a forum well known for infamous trolls. Until we get an official announcement from Nintendo, we cannot be sure of a new Direct. But we can still hope it’ll happen.
