Zenless Zone Zero Claret is a new S-Rank Electric Agent coming in Version 3.2 and the first playable character to use the new Armorer Specialty. The head of Flint Workshop will debut during the first half of the update, introducing completely new Maim and multi-CRIT mechanics to Zenless Zone Zero.
Version 3.2, Their Secret Histories, launches on September 9, 2026. Claret will receive her own limited Signal Search during the first half of the version, alongside the return of Nangong Yu.
Zenless Zone Zero Claret Release Date
The Zenless Zone Zero Claret release date falls during the first half of Version 3.2, which begins on September 9, 2026.
HoYoverse has confirmed that Claret’s exclusive Signal Search will be available during the first half of the update.
Nangong Yu will also receive a rerun during Phase 1, while new Agent Roxy and returning S-Rank Agent Promeia will headline the second half of Version 3.2.
An exact end date for Claret’s Signal Search will depend on the Version 3.2 banner schedule, but players will be able to start pulling for her once the new update is live.
What Attribute Is Claret in Zenless Zone Zero?
Zenless Zone Zero Claret is an S-Rank Electric Agent.
She is also the first Agent to use the new Armorer Specialty introduced with Version 3.2.
That makes Claret particularly significant because she introduces an entirely new character role rather than simply joining one of Zenless Zone Zero’s existing Specialties.
Her gameplay is designed around a mixture of offensive and defensive mechanics, with her damage scaling from DEF and her kit making use of new Gash, Maim and multi-CRIT systems.
What Is the Armorer Specialty in Zenless Zone Zero?
Armorer is a completely new Agent Specialty arriving in Zenless Zone Zero Version 3.2.
The Specialty is built around balancing offensive and defensive capabilities, while also introducing several mechanics that have not previously been available through other Agent roles.
As the first Armorer Agent, Zenless Zone Zero Claret can build Gash on enemies by attacking them.
Once enough Gash has accumulated, the target becomes affected by Gash. Hitting that enemy with specific skills can then trigger Maim, dealing additional damage and granting a Laceration DMG increase.
Armorer Agents can also use the new Counter Assist mechanic. This allows them to contest certain enemy Control Skills and push opponents back, adding another defensive option during combat.
How Does Claret’s Multi-CRIT Mechanic Work?
One of the most unusual parts of the Zenless Zone Zero Claret kit is multi-CRIT.
All of Claret’s skills use DEF as their base damage multiplier, but CRIT remains an important part of building her.
When Claret’s CRIT Rate exceeds 100%, the excess CRIT Rate can trigger multi-CRIT.
Instead of simply making any CRIT Rate over 100% useless, Claret can therefore continue benefiting from additional CRIT investment.
Her multi-CRIT calculations use Laceration DMG in place of normal CRIT DMG.
Claret’s initial CRIT DMG is also converted into initial CRIT Rate at a set ratio, meaning DEF, CRIT Rate and CRIT DMG are all central parts of her build.
The new system makes Zenless Zone Zero Claret very different from existing Agents and is one of the biggest gameplay changes arriving with the Armorer Specialty.
Who Is Claret in Zenless Zone Zero?
Claret is the head of Flint Workshop and an Administrative Director within the organization.
Version 3.2’s main story takes the Proxies to Vyrium as the investigation surrounding Roscaelifer, TOPS and a missing shipment of Porcelloy continues.
Claret and her assistant Roxy become involved after the Flint Workshop shipment disappears at a transfer station.
The investigation eventually leads towards a covert research facility connected to Helios Academy, while Lindverne Sunbringer also asks Claret to investigate Porcelloy-related clues found within the remains of Girtablullu.
Both Claret and Roxy will therefore play major roles in the Their Secret Histories storyline rather than simply appearing as new playable Agents.
Zenless Zone Zero Claret Banner and Rerun
The Zenless Zone Zero Claret banner will appear during the first half of Version 3.2.
Claret will be the new limited S-Rank Agent available during this phase, while Nangong Yu receives a rerun at the same time.
The second half of Version 3.2 will introduce Roxy, an S-Rank Wind Stun Agent. Promeia will receive her rerun alongside Roxy.
Claret will also receive dedicated content within existing systems, including new Tactical Prisms, Armorer Specialty General Gears and exclusive Hollow Zero Gear.
A new Armorer-specific training stage will also be added to the VR Training Room, giving players somewhere to learn how the new Specialty works.
With Zenless Zone Zero Claret introducing the first Armorer kit, new Maim mechanics and an unusual multi-CRIT system, Version 3.2 is bringing substantially more than another standard S-Rank Agent when it launches on September 9.
