Pokémon Winds and Waves pre-orders aren’t officially open yet. Nintendo has announced both games for a worldwide 2027 launch on Nintendo Switch 2, but hasn’t given an ordering date, a final UK price or details of any pre-order bonuses.
The games already have Nintendo listings, and some retailers may show early product pages. Those aren’t necessarily the same as confirmed orders with a final release date. Here’s what you can actually check before committing to either version.
Are Pokémon Winds and Waves pre-orders open?
No official Pokémon Winds and Waves pre-orders opening has been announced. Nintendo’s pages show the platform, 2027 release window and trailer, but no date when customers can begin ordering the games.
A listing that lets you read about a game isn’t proof that pre-orders have started. Likewise, a retailer might add a placeholder date before Nintendo reveals the launch day.

The status table separates confirmed information from unannounced purchasing details. Until Nintendo provides a price and date, early listings should be checked carefully rather than treated as final.
When will Pokémon Winds and Waves pre-orders begin?
There is no confirmed opening day or month. The Pokémon Company has announced a simultaneous worldwide release in 2027, but nothing more specific about when either version will become available to order.
It’s possible a future trailer will announce the release date and begin pre-orders at the same time. That’s only a possibility, though, not a published plan. You can follow the confirmed timing in our release-date guide.
Can you pre-order Winds and Waves separately?
Pokémon Winds and Pokémon Waves are separate games with individual Nintendo listings. The complete ordering options aren’t available yet, so there is no confirmed double pack, special edition or bonus tied to buying both.
Players choosing between them currently have one confirmed difference: the main character’s outfit changes depending on the version. Pokémon hasn’t revealed exclusive Legendary Pokémon or separate species lists.
Our version comparison explains what can actually be compared before placing Pokémon Winds and Waves pre-orders.
How much will Pokémon Winds and Waves cost?
Neither game has a confirmed final UK price. Nintendo Switch 2 exclusivity doesn’t establish what these particular games will cost, and a retailer’s estimated figure can change before orders officially open.
If you’re budgeting for the launch, our price guide tracks the official status without relying on guesses based on previous Pokémon releases.
Will there be physical copies or pre-order bonuses?
Nintendo hasn’t announced a complete physical-edition lineup or special collector’s edition. There is also no confirmed early-purchase reward, cosmetic gift or bonus Pokémon for either version.
Previous Pokémon games have offered various purchase incentives, but those don’t guarantee equivalent offers for these titles. A supposed exclusive reward needs an official announcement before it can be considered genuine.
The current digital store descriptions confirm the games exist and are coming in 2027, but they don’t settle every detail about future retail packaging and promotions.
Can you trust retailer Pokémon Winds and Waves pre-orders?
A real shop can publish a placeholder listing. Look for language saying a release date or price is provisional, and check whether the retailer is charging immediately, taking a deposit or just collecting interest.
If a listing promises a particular bonus or date that isn’t on Nintendo’s official pages, treat it as unverified. The Pokémon Winds listing and Pokémon Waves listing are good places to compare the published facts.
What information is still missing?
The main missing pieces are the launch day, final price, pre-order date, editions and bonus details. There is no reason to assume a placeholder on a retailer site has already answered any of those questions.
For now, Pokémon Winds and Waves pre-orders remain unannounced. The games themselves are confirmed for a 2027 worldwide Nintendo Switch 2 release, and the official Pokémon website has the current trailer and first-partner information.
