The Pokémon Winds and Waves price hasn’t been announced. Both games are scheduled for a worldwide release in 2027 exclusively on Nintendo Switch 2, but Nintendo has yet to confirm how much either version will cost in the UK or elsewhere.
You may have seen early retailer prices or guesses based on other Nintendo Switch 2 games. Those can be useful as rough budgeting examples, but they aren’t a confirmed price for Pokémon Winds or Pokémon Waves. Here’s the information players actually have before orders open.
What is the Pokémon Winds and Waves price?
There is no official Pokémon Winds and Waves price in pounds, dollars or euros yet. Nintendo has created listings for both games, but the launch date and purchasing information haven’t been finalised.
| Price detail | Current status |
|---|---|
| Pokémon Winds price | Not announced |
| Pokémon Waves price | Not announced |
| UK price | Not announced |
| US price | Not announced |
| Digital price | Not announced |
| Physical price | Not announced |
| Double pack price | Not announced |
| Special edition price | Not announced |
A retailer can publish a provisional price before the publisher announces a final figure. That doesn’t mean the shop is necessarily illegitimate, but the amount may change and shouldn’t be presented as Nintendo’s announced launch price.
How much will Pokémon Winds cost?
Pokémon Winds doesn’t have a confirmed standalone retail price. Its Nintendo Switch 2 listing gives the release year and the game’s basic description, but not an official final UK price.
The same is true of any special edition or purchase bonus. No announced extras can be included in a reliable price comparison until Nintendo supplies the details.
How much will Pokémon Waves cost?
Pokémon Waves also lacks a confirmed price. There’s no official information showing that one version will cost more than the other, or that choosing Waves instead of Winds will include a different package of extras.
Both versions have the same confirmed launch platform and year. The first announced difference concerns the outfit worn by the playable character, rather than the cost. Our version comparison covers the details.
What will Pokémon Winds and Waves cost in the UK?
The Pokémon Winds and Waves price in the UK hasn’t been set publicly. Buying a Nintendo Switch 2 game in the UK will normally mean checking the local Nintendo eShop or a UK retailer, but no verified figure is available for these particular titles.
If you’re planning a budget, avoid treating a placeholder as the amount you’ll definitely pay. Retail prices can differ by country, store, edition and whether you choose a physical or digital copy.
Will the games cost more because they’re on Switch 2?
The new games are Nintendo Switch 2 exclusives, but that doesn’t establish a specific price tier. Different Switch 2 releases can have different pricing, and comparisons to other games can’t substitute for Nintendo’s own announcement.
The Pokémon Winds and Waves price may be revealed closer to pre-orders or the exact launch date, but there is no confirmed schedule for that announcement.
Will there be physical, digital or special editions?
The digital Nintendo store pages are already available to view, but a complete list of buying options hasn’t been announced. There’s no confirmed collector’s edition, double pack or exclusive bundle price.
Likewise, Pokémon hasn’t revealed a pre-order reward or paid upgrade scheme for these games. A listing promising a particular bonus should be checked against the official publisher information.
Our pre-orders guide covers the difference between official ordering information and retailer placeholders.
Are retailer prices genuine?
An early listing can contain a provisional amount rather than a confirmed price. Look for wording such as ‘estimated’ or ‘subject to change’, and check the seller’s payment and refund terms if it is already collecting orders.
A Pokémon Winds and Waves price circulating on social media is not official just because it looks plausible. It’s worth comparing any claim with Nintendo’s UK pages for Winds and Waves.
When will the official Pokémon Winds and Waves price be announced?
There is no confirmed date for a pricing announcement. The games will release worldwide in 2027 on Nintendo Switch 2, but the exact launch day and pre-order opening date are also unannounced.
For now, the Pokémon Winds and Waves price remains unknown for both versions. Check our release-date guide for the confirmed launch window and the official Pokémon website for the first game information.
