Enshrouded Artificer set is a new five-piece cosmetic outfit hidden around Embervale, and getting started is a little more involved than walking up to Mei-Yin Chen. Keen Games added the hunt in November 2026, alongside the Star Map and Ancient Globe decorations.
The first journal hint has three progression requirements, and missing just one is enough to stop it appearing. Here’s what to finish before talking to Mei, what the hints cover, and how the Twitch alternative works.
Enshrouded Artificer set: requirements for the first hint
Before the first Enshrouded Artificer set hint appears, you need to have Mei-Yin Chen unlocked, have Loraine Crim unlocked, and have finished all Beacon Dungeons. Keen clarified those conditions after its original announcement. The clarification also says the first hint applies to players who have not already started or completed the set.
The first-hint requirement is the awkward part. If you have already begun or completed the collection, you are no longer at the start of that hint sequence. And having Mei-Yin Chen alone isn’t enough if you still need Loraine Crim or any Beacon Dungeons.
How to start the Enshrouded Artificer set hunt
Once the conditions are in place, speak with Mei-Yin Chen and check your Journal for the hints that point towards the cosmetic pieces. The November announcement confirms five hidden parts somewhere in Embervale. This is a hunt, not a purchase from a shop or a new combat armour progression system.

The five parts are the helmet, chest, gloves, trousers and boots. The Enshrouded Artificer set is a vanity outfit, so collecting it changes your appearance, not your defensive stats.
Where to find the five Artificer pieces
The Enshrouded Artificer set is scattered across Embervale, with hints added to your Journal after you speak with Mei-Yin Chen. Start with the clue you have and look for the next piece as you progress. There is no verified five-location list in the official announcement, so don’t follow coordinates presented as official unless they’ve been checked in-game.
Why can’t I see the first Artificer hint?
Check your progress against Keen’s list: Mei-Yin Chen unlocked, Loraine Crim unlocked, every Beacon Dungeon completed, and no previous start or completion of the set if you are expecting the first hint.
Finish any missing milestone, then speak to Mei and read the Journal. Keen’s announcement confirms five hidden pieces but doesn’t give the five exact locations. This guide covers unlocking the hints, not an unverified location-by-location walkthrough.
Star Map and Ancient Globe are a separate quest
There are also two craftable decorations to unlock: the Star Map and Ancient Globe. Their recipes unlock by completing the side quest called Find the Orrery Rings. That is separate from discovering the five outfit pieces.
The Star Map and Ancient Globe are not two extra armour pieces. Their recipes belong to a separate side quest, and completing it doesn’t replace finding the five outfit parts.
Can you get the Enshrouded Artificer set from Twitch Drops?
Yes. The Artificer Twitch campaign runs from 3 November to 17 November 2026. It includes the outfit pieces and decorations. The first outfit reward arrives at 30 minutes, gloves at 60, the chest at 90 and the helmet at 180 minutes of eligible viewing. The Star Map arrives at 120 minutes and the Animated Ancient Globe at 240.

Are the Artificer pieces worth collecting?
If you’re collecting cosmetics, the outfit gives you a reason to revisit Embervale. The Enshrouded Artificer set gives you another reason to explore the late-game areas of Embervale, while the two astronomy-themed props offer something different for builders. If you’d rather skip the hunt, Twitch Drops are available until 17 November at 2 p.m. GMT. The full four-hour reward track includes the two decorative props.
For the in-game route, complete the unlock requirements, speak to Mei, and use the Journal hints for the Artificer pieces. Leave the Orrery Rings side quest for the Star Map and Globe.
