Farming Simulator 25 Coffee Cherries: How to Plant, Treat and Harvest on Catuaí

Farming Simulator 25 coffee cherries grow in permanent plantation rows on Catuaí in the Beans & Alpacas Expansion. To harvest them, you need the Case IH Coffee Express 200 Multi once the fruit turns red. The harvester collects cherries, not roasted beans, so you’ll need further processing to produce coffee goods.

GIANTS Software has published a full Crops 101 walkthrough covering plantation layout, fertilising, fungal disease and transport. The standard Catuaí calendar runs from September planting to May harvesting, although plantations can be placed during other months and begin at a season-adjusted stage.

Open the plantation construction tool, draw the boundary of the space you want to cultivate and let the game generate the rows. It calculates an orientation automatically. You can adjust the angle, check the cost and confirm a layout that gives your vehicles room to turn at the ends.

Coffee isn’t sown with a standard seeder. The plantation itself stays in place, progressing through five growth stages. On Catuaí the normal harvest comes in May, but placing rows at another time of year adjusts their starting growth stage. Don’t confuse the date you build a plantation with the date the cherries ripen.

Equipment for Farming Simulator 25 coffee cherries

Use a narrow orchard tractor and fertiliser spreader for everyday care, plus a fungicide sprayer for disease. For harvesting you need the Case IH Coffee Express 200 Multi. A Colombo CTG 4500 narrow trailer makes unloading between the rows easier, with a larger trailer waiting outside the plantation.

GIANTS shows the KUHN AFS 600 sprayer for fungal treatment. GPS assistance can keep the tractor aligned through narrow rows. Choose machinery that fits your plantation; buying a broad field tractor won’t make the rows wider.

Farming Simulator 25 coffee cherries fungus treatment

Yellow spots on the leaves signal fungal disease. Apply fungicide once during each harvest cycle before the final harvest-ready growth stage. The KUHN AFS 600 can spray two rows in a single pass, reducing the number of trips needed. Fertilising is separate and can improve the yield.

If you don’t want to manage plant disease, it can be disabled in the game settings. Otherwise, check the bushes while they’re still growing, rather than leaving treatment until the harvester arrives.

How to harvest coffee cherries

Wait for the red cherries, then drive the Coffee Express 200 Multi along the rows. It shakes the ripe fruit from the plants, separates leaves and gathers the crop in its tank. The output is Farming Simulator 25 coffee cherries, which must be moved out of the plantation.

Bring the Colombo CTG 4500 alongside behind a narrow tractor to unload. Transfer the load to a larger trailer at the edge of the field, where you can head toward a selling point or the Coffee Processing Plant. This avoids taking the harvester away from the rows every time its tank fills.

What can you make from coffee cherries?

The Coffee Processing Plant dries the crop into Coffee Bags. These can move into further production at the Roastery, Coffee Shop, Dairy and Bakery for products such as packed coffee, capsules, beverages, coffee yoghurt and tiramisu. Our production chains guide shows those stages.

For details on the new map and expansion ownership, see Beans and Alpacas. You can also compare coffee with banana farming, which has a year-round harvest on Catuaí.

With Farming Simulator 25 coffee cherries, the sequence is straightforward: lay out the rows, maintain plant health, harvest the red fruit and transport it. Choose whether to sell immediately or invest in processing based on the prices in your own save, not an unsupported fixed profit calculation.
