Wuthering Waves Team Presets: Rename, Reorder and 3D Lineups

Wuthering Waves Team Presets expanded in Version 3.7. You can now save up to 20 team setups, rename them and drag to change their order. There’s also a new 3D lineup option and a Preset Teams menu in Tower of Adversity.

You can keep a regular exploration squad alongside teams built for different challenges instead of rebuilding the lineup every time. The 3D view is optional, and its availability depends on how much RAM your mobile device has.

How to manage Wuthering Waves Team Presets

Open Team Management from the Team screen to rename and reorder your saved lineups. Version 3.7 raised the limit to 20 team setups, leaving room for your favourite team and several more specialised combinations.

The name you choose appears in the top-left corner of the Team screen. A label like “Exploration” or “Tower” makes it easier to identify the right setup later. You’re renaming a saved team, not changing the name of an individual Resonator.

With Wuthering Waves Team Presets, you can put the squads you use most often near the top and keep the occasional ones further down. It’s a small change that makes switching lineups much less fiddly.

How to reorder teams

In Team Management, drag a saved setup into the position you want. Kuro confirms drag-based reordering but doesn’t give a universal button or gesture for every platform, so use the controls shown in your client.

This only changes the order of your saved teams. It doesn’t alter combat stats, change which Resonators belong to a setup or equip different Echoes.

Wuthering Waves Team Presets 3D and 2D views

The Team screen has a 3D/2D toggle in the upper-right corner. The default is 2D. Switch to 3D to see the Resonators as character models, or back to 2D if you’d rather use the simpler layout.

3D view is a visual option, not a damage buff or a new team slot. Kuro says it can increase device load and is still being refined, so returning to 2D may be the better choice if the menu feels sluggish.

Why is the 3D team view unavailable on my phone?

The 3D lineup is unavailable on iOS devices with 4GB RAM or less and Android devices with 6GB RAM or less. These restrictions apply to the new 3D display, not the normal ability to save and organise Wuthering Waves Team Presets.

Platform 3D display unavailable when
iOS RAM is 4GB or less
Android RAM is 6GB or less

If there’s no 3D switch, check your phone’s RAM first. The standard 2D team screen remains available on devices excluded from 3D, and meeting the RAM threshold doesn’t guarantee identical performance on every model.

How to select a preset for Tower of Adversity

Before entering a Tower of Adversity challenge, open its lineup page and select Preset Teams. You can choose a saved setup there instead of rebuilding your squad from scratch.

Save a few Wuthering Waves Team Presets for the encounters you play regularly. Team Management itself won’t automatically improve weapons or Echoes. Version 3.7 separately updated Echo Recommendations for characters with two Resonance Modes.

For character equipment choices, see our Suoming build guide. The Version 3.7 overview covers the wider changes rather than the specific Team Management steps.

Wuthering Waves Team Presets: Best way to organise them

Give your regular teams useful names, arrange them in the order you prefer and use the Preset Teams menu for Tower of Adversity. Wuthering Waves Team Presets can now hold 20 setups, while 3D view remains an optional way to see those lineups.
