The LEGO Fortnite Shatter Sanctum portal is at the Monastery of Spinjitzu on NINJAGO Island. It leads into Shatter Sanctum, where LEGO Fortnite Odyssey players can fight Shatter Spawn during the November 5 to 12, 2026 Golden Weapon event.
If you’ve already explored NINJAGO Island, head back to the Monastery. New Survival players reach it through the opening story. This is an Odyssey boss fight, not a Battle Royale event, so you’ll enter from your Survival world.
Where is the LEGO Fortnite Shatter Sanctum portal?
The entrance is at the Monastery of Spinjitzu, your home base during the NINJAGO adventure. Epic directs players to use the Monastery portal to reach Shatter Sanctum. The boss awaits on the other side, rather than out on the island’s main map.
The Monastery is a pre-built village and one of the first NINJAGO locations you’ll visit. If you’ve followed the story already, return there for the November encounter. The Ice, Lightning and Earth Sanctums are different NINJAGO locations, not the entrance for this boss.
How to reach the Monastery in a new Survival world
LEGO’s official NINJAGO introduction places new Survival players on NINJAGO Island. The Monastery stands up the path from the starting area, with enemies blocking the approach. Here’s the route through that opening section:
- Start a Survival world in LEGO Fortnite Odyssey. The NINJAGO introduction takes you to NINJAGO Island.
- Follow the path towards the Monastery. You’ll see the building ahead, beyond the enemies attacking its approach.
- Follow the opening quest. You’ll be given Nunchucks and fight through the enemies on the way.
- Reach the Monastery of Spinjitzu. This becomes your NINJAGO home base and the location of the Shatter Sanctum event gateway.
- Enter the event portal between November 5 and 12. It takes you into the boss encounter.
You’ll encounter enemies and a portal during the first story sequence. The LEGO Fortnite Shatter Sanctum portal used for Shatter Spawn is the Monastery’s event entrance, so head back there for the Golden Weapon fight.
How to access the LEGO Fortnite Shatter Sanctum portal in an existing world
Existing Survival players can also visit NINJAGO Island. LEGO says the game presents an island welcome screen when you load an existing world. Once you’ve reached NINJAGO Island, make your way to the Monastery and use the event entrance.
The LEGO Fortnite Shatter Sanctum portal runs on your Odyssey world. You don’t load a separate Fortnite Creative island or start a Battle Royale match. If you played previous NINJAGO events in the same world, the Monastery is the place to revisit.
What time does the LEGO Fortnite Shatter Sanctum portal open?
Epic’s event calendar puts the opening at 09:00 UTC on November 5, 2026 and the closing at 09:00 UTC on November 12. That’s 1am in Los Angeles, 4am in New York, 9am in London, 2:30pm in India, 6pm in Tokyo and 8pm in Sydney.

What happens when you enter the LEGO Fortnite Shatter Sanctum portal?
Inside Shatter Sanctum, you’ll fight Shatter Spawn. Epic names the Nunchucks of Lightning and Shurikens of Ice as the Golden Weapon rewards for winning during this event. These special boss rewards are different from the standard Nunchucks and Shurikens available earlier in NINJAGO.
Defeating Shatter Spawn seals the portal in your world. A completed battle closes the entrance for that event window, so you can’t farm the boss repeatedly after winning. The seven-day event is the final announced Golden Weapon opportunity for now.
What to take into Shatter Sanctum
Before entering, open Mastery > NINJAGO and check the upgrades you’ve unlocked in the Ninja, Ice, Lightning and Earth categories. These include Scrolls, Relics and Charms. The Ninja Workbench lets you craft ordinary Nunchucks, Shurikens and other equipment for NINJAGO fights.
Spinjitzu Scrolls add moves such as Double Jump, Ninja Run and the Spinjitzu Tornado. Relics can improve a crafted weapon’s strength or give it elemental effects. Use the equipment you’ve already unlocked when preparing for Shatter Spawn rather than entering the Sanctum with your earliest story gear.
The LEGO Fortnite Shatter Sanctum portal is open from November 5 to 12. Return to the Monastery, enter Shatter Sanctum and defeat the boss to earn the two Golden Weapons named for this event window.
