ARK Fear Ascended 2026 runs from October 28 through November 11 in ARK: Survival Ascended. Studio Wildcard’s Halloween event brings six new types of ghost creatures, returning skeletal dinosaurs and Dodo bosses, coffin-themed furniture, pumpkin decorations and boosted rates on official servers.

Studio Wildcard confirms Wednesday, October 28 to Wednesday, November 11, 2026. Neither Community Crunch 529 nor its follow-up specifies a worldwide shutdown hour, so there is no verified GMT or local-time countdown to quote. Plan to finish event activities before November 11 rather than assuming the event lasts until midnight in your region.
These dates are for ARK: Survival Ascended in 2026. The event was also held in earlier years, so check the year on any older guides or screenshots, particularly when planning around the closing date.
ARK Fear Ascended 2026 official server rates
The Halloween bonuses depend on the official server type. Players on ordinary PvP and PvE servers receive doubled harvesting, taming, experience and breeding. Small Tribes uses higher harvesting, taming and experience rates but a different breeding multiplier.

New ghost creatures in ARK Fear Ascended 2026
The new list is Ghost Tidepup in both forms, Ghost Burrowbuck, Ghost Gargantar, Ghost Bloodstalker, Ghost Therizino and Ghost Megaraptor. Returning ghost creatures include Ghost Cat, Ghost Gigantoraptor, Ghost Ankylosaurus, Ghost Angler, Ghost Spinosaurus, Ghost Otter and many others.
Skeletal Bronto, Carnotaurus, Giganotosaurus, Raptor, Rex, Stego, Trike, Quetzal, Jerboa and Wyvern also return. DodoRex, Dodo Wyvern, Zombie Wyvern variants and Zomdodo are on the official event list.

Halloween decorations and cosmetic rewards
ARK Fear Ascended 2026 adds new Halloween versions of useful structures: Coffin Storage replaces the look of a Vault, the Pumpkin Carving Station corresponds to a Smithy, and Coffin Forge, Coffin Cooker and Coffin Bed each match their familiar base-game structure.
Other collectibles include Ghost, Frankenstein and Pumpkin plushies, crackable jack-o’-lantern variants, Horror Species X, Festive Dino Candy and returning costumes. Before putting materials aside to craft a particular cosmetic, check its actual in-game requirements. Wildcard’s new-item catalogue doesn’t provide a confirmed cost for every decoration, and older event recipes may not match this year’s selection.
How to play Fear Ascended in single player
The official network receives the event automatically during its run. To access it in single player or non-dedicated sessions, install the Fear Ascended mod from the main menu’s Mods tab. The mod ID is 877752. Enable it from your world’s Mod Settings under Available Mods.

Haunted Homestead building contest
