WrestleMania 38 producer quits WWE

WWE producer Pat Buck (Pat Buckridge) has quit the company following WrestleMania 38 this past weekend. Buck was in charge of producing the Roman Reigns vs Brock Lesnar, and Charlotte Flair vs Ronda Rousey matches, with the Flair vs Rousey, match being co-produced by Michael Hayes.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Buck informed WWE earlier today that he was leaving the company.

“The word making the rounds is that Buck stated that with the matches he worked on for Wrestlemania 38, he had achieved his goals of producing main events on the biggest show of the year and now needed to refocus his energies on his family, something the current WWE schedule could not consistently afford him the ability to do.”

It is unclear whether this was a planned exit from WWE, or whether this was a “quit or be fired” situation following the negative feedback towards the two matches Buck was in charge of.
