WoW Xal’atath Raid: Worldcore Bosses and Rewards

WoW Xal’atath Raid

WoW Xal’atath Raid is The Worldcore, an eight-boss raid arriving with Midnight’s Patch 12.2 Eclipse and built around the expansion’s climactic confrontation with the Harbinger. Blizzard has revealed the structure and headline reward, but not the complete boss list.

Where the Raid Takes Place

Eclipse pushes players deeper beneath Azeroth than before, through the Mantle Vault and toward the Worldcore. The raid sits at the centre of the final Light-versus-Void push.

How Many Bosses?

The Worldcore has eight bosses. Blizzard says the encounters include Void enemies, Titan constructs and living Azerite before the story reaches Xal’atath.

Is Xal’atath the Final Boss?

Blizzard presents Xal’atath as the raid’s climactic confrontation and the target of the final stand in Eclipse. The full ordered encounter list is not public yet, so there is no complete boss-by-boss guide to publish at this stage.

What Bosses Are Confirmed?

Xal’atath is the named Worldcore boss in Blizzard’s panel recap. Noctinaxx is also an Eclipse raid boss, but it belongs to the separate Gearhold Lair rather than the eight-boss Worldcore raid, so the two should not be mixed into one boss list.

Midnight’s Edge

The raid is tied to Midnight’s Edge, the first Legendary of Midnight and the Worldsoul Saga. The caster dagger is not a one-step reward: Blizzard says defeating the raid is only one of several requirements.

Other Raid Rewards

Normal raid gear, appearances and progression rewards are expected as part of Season 3, but Blizzard has not published the Worldcore loot tables, mounts or achievement rewards yet. There is no benefit in inventing a reward list before PTR.

Difficulty Information

Blizzard has not detailed every Worldcore difficulty rule in the panel recap. The separate Gearhold Lair has World, Normal, Heroic and flexible Mythic difficulties, but those labels should not automatically be copied onto The Worldcore without its own raid information.

What Happens After Xal’atath?

Eclipse is the final major content update of Midnight and leads the Worldsoul Saga toward The Last Titan. Blizzard says the Worldcore confrontation exposes Xal’atath’s motivations and sets up the next chapter.

When Will the Full Boss List Arrive?

PTR testing is where encounter names, order and loot usually become concrete. Until then, the accurate summary is eight bosses, Xal’atath as the climax, and Midnight’s Edge tied to the raid. The official World of Warcraft site will add the rest as Eclipse approaches.
