Where is the real Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza? The permanent Five Nights at Freddy’s restaurant will be located at American Dream in East Rutherford, New Jersey, with its grand opening planned for 2027.
ScottGames confirmed on August 8, 2026 that Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza is “coming to life” as a permanent location at American Dream. The project is being created as an immersive restaurant and entertainment experience based on the fictional pizzeria at the centre of the Five Nights at Freddy’s franchise.
Unlike previous temporary FNAF attractions, this is intended to be a permanent Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza that visitors can actually enter, eat in and experience.

Is the Real Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza Actually Permanent?
Yes. This is one of the most important details surrounding where is the real Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza.
ScottGames described the attraction as a permanent location, while American Dream is promoting it as an immersive Five Nights at Freddy’s experience rather than a temporary event.
That makes the New Jersey location different from previous FNAF pop-ups, Halloween attractions and promotional installations.
Attractions Magazine reports that American Dream is billing the project as the first permanent immersive restaurant experience based on Five Nights at Freddy’s.
What Is American Dream?
American Dream is an entertainment, shopping and dining complex in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
The destination contains indoor attractions alongside shops and restaurants, making it a natural home for a large permanent FNAF experience rather than a standalone restaurant building somewhere else in the state.
Existing attractions at American Dream include Nickelodeon Universe, DreamWorks Water Park, BIG SNOW, LEGOLAND Discovery Center and SEA LIFE Aquarium.
The new Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza will become another entertainment attraction within that wider complex.
Is the Real Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza Near New York City?
Yes. Although the answer to where is the real Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza is technically New Jersey, American Dream is located in the New York metropolitan area and markets itself as being close to New York City.
That should make the attraction significantly easier to reach for tourists visiting the New York area than if it were located much further into New Jersey.
American Dream itself is in East Rutherford, so visitors should not expect Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza to be located in Manhattan or elsewhere inside New York City.
When Will the Real Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza Open?
The real Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza is scheduled to open in 2027.
ScottGames has confirmed the 2027 grand opening, but an exact month or date has not yet been announced.
American Dream has also not yet announced opening hours, reservation requirements or ticketing information.
For now, 2027 is the only confirmed opening window.
What Will Be Inside the Real Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza?
Knowing where is the real Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza is only part of the announcement, because this is being designed as considerably more than a themed pizza restaurant.
Confirmed plans include quick-service dining, arcade games and multiplayer experiences inspired by the survival horror elements of Five Nights at Freddy’s.
Animatronics will also form a major part of the attraction.
Freddy and the Fazbear Band are planned to perform on a Main Stage, while Foxy the Pirate will have a separate show at Pirate Cove.
That means several of the most recognisable elements of the fictional Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza are being recreated for the real venue.
Will the Real Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza Serve Food?
Yes.
American Dream is developing Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza as a functioning restaurant, with quick-service dining confirmed as part of the attraction.
A full menu has not yet been announced, so there are currently no confirmed pizza flavours, desserts, drinks or prices.
American Dream has said that both the animatronic entertainment and food quality are important parts of creating an authentic experience.
Do You Need Tickets to Visit Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza?
Ticket information has not yet been announced.
It is currently unclear whether visitors will need a ticket to enter Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza itself, whether the restaurant will use reservations, or whether individual entertainment experiences will be paid for separately.
American Dream has opened an official page where fans can register for updates about the Five Nights at Freddy’s experience.
Until further details are published, claims about admission prices or booking requirements should be treated as unconfirmed.
Is There Already a Real Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza?
There have previously been physical Five Nights at Freddy’s experiences, but the American Dream project is different because it is intended to operate permanently.
Previous FNAF attractions have included temporary Halloween experiences and other promotional installations. Attractions Magazine notes that the franchise has appeared in real-world attractions before, including a 2016 walkthrough experience and Five Nights at Freddy’s at Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights in 2025.
The American Dream location is therefore not the first time fans have been able to experience FNAF physically, but it is being announced as the first permanent immersive Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza restaurant.
