Warrior Cats Clans of the Forest Release Date is 23 October 2026. The new Lake Territories adventure is heading to PC and consoles, with a few platform differences worth knowing before you decide where to play.
Warrior Cats: Clans of the Forest takes the book series into an original game set in the Lake Territories. Players create a cat, join a Clan storyline, explore the wilderness and take part in turn-based battles. The official descriptions support several clear answers now, although some precise launch-day menu steps will need to be checked when the game becomes playable.
Warrior Cats Clans of the Forest Release Date: When is the game releasing?
The official Warrior Cats website confirms 23 October 2026. Steam, Nintendo and the publisher Trailmark Games also use October 23. Developer Bamtang Games has built a new RPG in the Lake Territories, so this is a real scheduled launch rather than a fan project or an unconfirmed rumour. Some regional storefronts display 22 October because of different account regions and their local release dates.
Warrior Cats Clans of the Forest Release Date: The release time in the UK
The UK PlayStation listing has shown a PS5 unlock corresponding to 04:00 UTC on 23 October, or 5 AM BST. This is a PS5-specific indicator, not a universal Steam, Nintendo or Xbox release hour. No single across-the-board launch time is confirmed by the publisher. Check the countdown in the digital store linked to your own account before planning an overnight session.
Warrior Cats Clans of the Forest Release Date: Every launch platform
Official listings cover PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Windows PC through Steam and Epic Games Store, Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2. Microsoft also sells a PC-compatible version on its Xbox storefront. Nintendo’s original Switch listing has separate Switch 2 compatibility information, so check the edition you’re buying. There is no confirmed PS4 or Xbox One release in the official platform list.
Warrior Cats Clans of the Forest Release Date: Modes included at launch
There are three advertised modes. Prophecy follows four original Clan stories. Defender is a survival challenge against powerful enemies in a single run, while Skirmish is asynchronous online battling, not live co-op. The game also promises a custom cat creator, exploration of six iconic territories, hunting and turn-based battles with teams of up to three cats. Those are base-game features.
Warrior Cats Clans of the Forest Release Date: Preorders and editions
Standard Edition includes the RPG. Feral Edition bundles the cosmetic Prophecy Pack with extra cat creator accessories, wearables, a cel-shaded character skin, photo poses and effects. Eligible digital preorders advertise the separate Purrfect Look Pack. The publisher hasn’t announced an extra story chapter exclusive to Feral. Compare the exact checkout contents on your own store before buying.
Warrior Cats Clans of the Forest Release Date: Preload, download and launch checks
Steam lists 4 GB of available PC storage, but that is not a verified final download transfer size. No confirmed universal preload date or early-access entitlement accompanies the release announcement. A wishlist or pre-purchase button alone does not guarantee that the files are playable. Wait for an Install or Preload action in the storefront, and distinguish a regional midnight release from a formally announced early launch.
