Untitled Boxing Game Ryu Style is the limited-time fighting style added to Roblox’s Street Fighter 6 crossover. Ryu fights differently from ordinary boxing styles: alongside light and heavy punches, he can throw Hadoken projectiles, land Shoryuken uppercuts and spend Drive Gauge on stronger attacks. The Ryu title and Akuma Gloves are different event rewards, not permanent unlocks for this fighting style.

If you’re chasing Ryu, getting enough Spins is only half the challenge. Once he’s equipped, his special moves demand careful timing. Throw an uppercut at the wrong moment and you’ll be punished during recovery; land an enhanced projectile cleanly and you can create time for follow-up punches. Here’s how to obtain the style and make his kit work in matches.

How to unlock Untitled Boxing Game Ryu Style

Open Fight Styles from the Untitled Boxing Game lobby, then use Spins while the Street Fighter 6 collaboration is live. The Untitled Boxing Game Ryu Style is part of the limited-time style pool. A Spin rolls a random result, so collecting ten Spins doesn’t guarantee that you’ll get him. Check the currently displayed pool before spending your saved rolls.

Two codes advertised by the developer can help: ryu awards 10 Spins, while streetfighter awards 6 Lucky Spins. Open the Codes menu and redeem each exactly as written. Our Untitled Boxing Game codes guide covers the other available codes and redemption steps. If you roll the Untitled Boxing Game Ryu Style, lock the style slot before trying for another fighter, so you don’t accidentally replace it.

Can you use Ryu without unlocking the permanent style?

Yes. The developer announced that the limited Street Fighter quests include a way to trial Ryu. Open the crossover quest tab to find the trial reward and check how long your access lasts. This is useful if you’re deciding whether to spend Spins on the Untitled Boxing Game Ryu Style, but a temporary trial is not the same as keeping the style in your collection.

The other quest rewards are also easy to confuse with him. The Ryu title unlocks at 10 Activity Points, the E. Honda dance at 50, and Akuma Gloves at 100. Those are cosmetic rewards. Read the Street Fighter quest objectives and rewards guide for the full route through the event ladder.

Untitled Boxing Game Ryu Style: moves and Drive Gauge costs

The Untitled Boxing Game Ryu Style is built around choosing the right attack for the situation. His standard punches remain important, while the specials offer extra reach, guard pressure or a chance to counter an aggressive opponent. Drive-enhanced attacks use meter, so their strongest versions can’t be thrown out endlessly.

Ryu moveDrive costWhen to use it
HadokenStandard moveMid-range projectile pressure
Tenjin Hadoken5%Enhanced projectile that stuns on hit
TatsumakiStandard moveBackwards-dash spinning kick to reposition
Enhanced Tatsumaki5%Follow up on a clean connection
ShoryukenStandard moveUppercut to counter an opponent’s approach
Drive Shoryuken8%Enhanced uppercut with a stronger counter window
Hashogeki5%Close-range stun, especially near a wall
Drive Impact12%Break blocking defence and stun
Critical ArtFull gaugeFinisher when Ultimate is fully charged

Ryu’s enhanced attacks spend part of the Drive Gauge rather than ordinary stamina alone. Current move demonstrations give these costs: Tenjin Hadoken 5%, enhanced Tatsumaki 5%, Drive Shoryuken 8%, Hashogeki 5%, and Drive Impact 12%. The standard Hadoken and regular Shoryuken are useful when you want to preserve meter for the next attack. With the gauge full, activating Ultimate unleashes Ryu’s Critical Art.

Ryu changes his special by using the Ansatsuken ability with different movement inputs. In current demonstrations, using it with a backward dash triggers Tatsumaki. Pressing the Drive activation before certain moves produces their enhanced version. Start by learning the normal move, then practise its Drive version: it is much easier to notice whether the extra meter actually helped when you aren’t trying to learn every input at once.

Hadoken makes the opponent alter their approach. Its enhanced Tenjin version stuns on a hit and can open a combo. Shoryuken is an uppercut with limited invulnerability, while the enhanced Drive Shoryuken gives better counter potential but costs eight percent of the gauge. A missed uppercut has substantial recovery, so don’t throw it whenever the opponent walks closer.

Hashogeki is Ryu’s close-range stun, useful when a light-punch string leaves an opening. Drive Impact costs more meter, but it can break a guarding opponent’s defence and create a bigger follow-up. The attacks are especially dangerous near a wall where knockback won’t immediately move the opponent out of your reach.

Best Untitled Boxing Game Ryu Style combos to practise

Start with Tenjin Hadoken into light punches. The enhanced projectile can stun long enough to approach, provided you were close enough when it hit. Then try light punches into Hashogeki at close range. Against players who hold block, use Drive Impact into a short follow-up, but only when they aren’t already preparing to dodge.

These are practice patterns, not guaranteed strings. The Untitled Boxing Game Ryu Style still needs accurate distance and timing, and the opponent may escape if your first attack barely connects. When somebody consistently avoids your specials, use light punches and feints to make them act first instead of wasting meter on another predictable projectile.

How to control Ryu on PC and Xbox

On keyboard, Space dashes, F blocks, M1 throws a light punch and M2 throws a heavy punch. Start a heavy and press M1 during its windup to feint (M2 + M1). On Xbox, A dashes, B blocks, X and Y throw the two punches, RB activates Ultimate and LB opens equipment. The Untitled Boxing Game Ryu Style keeps those basic controls, while its Ansatsuken ability and Drive follow-ups add more options during a fight.

Is the Untitled Boxing Game Ryu Style permanent?

Yes, if you roll him through Fight Styles. The Untitled Boxing Game Ryu Style is a limited-time acquisition, not a style that disappears from your collection when the crossover ends. Community discussion during the October event includes a staff reply confirming that players who actually roll Ryu keep him. The separate Temporary Ryu token earned through event quests only grants short-term access. Keep the two unlock methods separate when checking what your account owns.

If you’ve earned the Ryu title but still can’t equip him, look in Fight Styles rather than the cosmetic inventory. If you have successfully rolled him, use the lock icon on the style slot to protect him from being replaced by a later Spin. Claim the current developer-listed codes for further attempts while the limited pool is available. The next Street Fighter update is scheduled for October 24, but the crossover timer displayed in-game controls how long you can still roll him.
